With our forward situation, Inzaghi should really consider switching between 3-5-2 and 3-5-1-1 Hakan, sensi and Correa can play behind the striker, and we don't need to be desperate for an extra striker. Way more fluid in the deployment.

We shall keep him until the Samardzic's deal is completed.

you've just became the 6th midfielder. Good luck champ.

I know pre-season means nothing and Sensi will pull his muscle when he gets on the team bus. But we are talking about the 6th midfielder and we had Gagliardini last year. Asllani desperately needs to play more and he’s rarely injured. Just keep Sensi maybe? Play him sparsely and he could be as effective as Alexis Sanchez for us.

Use the budget on Taremi and hopefully Tomiyasu

I still think we should get rid of him. I know people are impressed by some pre-season games, but when is the last time Sensi impressed in Serie A? Probably the first 8 games of the 2019/2020 season. It's been 4 years since then. Granted, I didn't watch him at Sampdoria or Monza that much but I would assume if he had been impressive at either of those teams, either they would have tried to bring him back or there would be some other interest from another Serie A team? My last memory of Sensi at Monza was him getting injured in the game against us last season 20 minutes into the game. I get that he hasn't missed as many matches due to injuries as he did with us, but it seems after his injury against us last season, he only started 1 of the next 8 matches, even though he wasn't officially 'injured'. I'm guessing it would have to do with fitness issues/concerns. Whenever I've seen him, it looks to me like he plays as if he's afraid of getting injured - not going into challenges 100%, etc. From what I remember, his last injury with us was Inzaghi bringing him on against Sampdoria, and us being left with 10 men as Sensi got injured in a fairly regular 50-50 challenge.

Monza ended up getting Gagliardini on a free transfer after all.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love nothing more than having Sensi with a redemption arc, but I put more trust in his Serie A performances than in a few friendlies.

He is the 5th 6th mf you’d expect on a big team.

If a good offer came in for him sure let him go but it’s give him for peanuts or get a scrub who shouldn’t wear a jersey in a position we need.

When he is fit, he is a master class. If we can get a run of 15-20 games out of him we win. I know it is a big if ,but he is pure class when he is on it. I still remember his magical run with us (games against barca) before the injuries. He can unlock the game with a dribble or a pass and we desperately need this quality through a long season. I think about a situation when we are 0-0 with Empoli or Torino and we need a goal and now we have Sensi coming in, while previously we had the all mighty gags. His selling value is near to 0 anyway so its not like we are missing out a great financial deal if we let him go.

Why I want Sensi is because he is a goalscoring midfielder, him staying sure will help our chances in winning games that could be crucial. And I’m just talking about one attribute here.
