Yup, we still need another midfielder. There are still options for players on a loan or loan+option that are management can consider. Not long ago, Napoli took Anguissa on a loan + option deal from relegated Fulham. They also had Ndombele on a season-long loan last year. I'm not saying the latter was great, but if even if we lack money we can use more imagination.

Lo Celso is one guy that I'm not sure is in Tottenham's plans. I believe he recently went on a loan as well.

Was Sensi’s loan to Monza with an option to buy? On the surface, he did alright with 3 goals and 2 assists over 28 fixtures. I have no idea how he played as I had given up on Sensi but I’m surprised Monza didn’t take up the option.

Monza basically had to spend more than any club in Serie A this summer because Berlusconi took all those players they signed last summer on loan with an obligation if they avoided relegation. We were the only club dumb enough to give them a true option. It makes sense they decided to pass on Sensi given their financials.

Don't have one.
I still think we should move on from him, but it's the easy solution, so you better believe we are working on his contract renewal.

I would rather keep him. A player like him in more direct matches (derbies, CL games, other cup games) is what every club needs. A little bit of magic

Don't really underatand what we are trying to achieve by renewing him. Either keep him to run out his contract or get rid of him for good.

He is actually worth some money when he isn't injured. Losing Sensi before he is totally injured or too old to play would be devastating

Yeah that's the only caviat here. What do we really need? How will the player feel being the bench player?

Seems like Sensi doesn't mind and understands his role. Not so sure if Pereyra would feel the same. Probably would, but I'm daring to risk a low wages but injury prone Sensi instead of Pereyra atm. We kinda don't have that spark

Yet nobody wants to buy him now...so he's worth nothing. If noone wants to buy him, just let him run out of his contract and move on.

I have a soft spot for Sensi, therefore I'm probably biased.

In my opinion keeping Sensi will be one of the best decisions Inter will make. I truly believe he'll be an x-factor -no x-rays please- during the season.

Devastating to who?

He's supposed to be in his footballing prime and no team is even willing to spend 8 million euros on him. He's gonna be worth even less a year later,

Building a plan around him with an intensive schedule maybe stupid, but treat him as an impactful sub that can change the game, and give us an other way of playing, might just be the right dose.

His contract ends, 30 June 2024. If he can't be sold, then keep him and use him prudently. Renewing his contract maybe " the gentleman" thing to do, but its bad business.

Sensi doesn't really earn that much iirc. Wouldn't be upset at keeping at roughly the same wages to be an impact sub. Obviously he isn't someone you can rely on to be a starter.
