Having 4 great midfielders for 3 positions, with 2 backups is great. 4 for 3 will rotate a lot, especially if they are different types, and can be used in different situations.

Barella, Sensi, Brozovic are all good midfielders. Maybe very good. But nowhere close to great..

Vecino just isn't talented in football that much, maybe in the last 10 minutes because he has much stamina and can overrun and out jump everyone. If he doesn't fumble over the ball or fuck up a simple pass

That's one thing I've noticed. He's one a lot of aerial balls because he positions his body so well. Impressive, he shouldn't even have a chance at his size
I listen to david amoyal a lot as well and respect his opinion and he's in love with Sensi currently. The difference he made when he came on against Lazio was crazy

Tbh Gagliardini has all it takes to be a good all-round midfielder; technique, defending, psysicality. He just needs to get his confidence straight, and that is the responsibility of Conte.

@MusicalMafia, yeah I know he won't be ready soon, probably going to be on the bench in two years, but he does look more in the line of Sensi/Brozović type of midfielder, so that's good. Now getting rid of Valero and Vecino and getting some classy midfield player is the priority.

Am actually starting to think Barella might be a more natural replacement for Brozovic. He's definitely got the work rate, long passes, and willingness to get on the ball to do it.
