According to Fabrizio Romano, there are no doubts about Sensi redemption, the decision has been taken for a while and he will be an Inter player in 2020/21 season.

I like Marotta, he can do something I'm not comfortable doing. Perfect man for the job. Bring it down by 1 euro and I'll still be proud.

Wishing a speedy recovery for Sensi - we need him for the final sprint

Calciomercato: Despite his injury woes this season, Inter have already agreed with Sassuolo to permanently sign Sensi, the report continues. The Nerazzurri will pay €20 million for the 24-year-old Italian, who is currently out injured with a hamstring injury suffered in training.

Corriere dello Sport: Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi will be permanently signed by the Nerazzurri in the summer, despite his injury issues. The report details how the 24-year-old Italian was sent on loan from Sassuolo to the Nerazzurri last summer, with the player making an immediate impact in Milan. Sensi scored three goals and provided four assists in his first six games for Inter, but suffered a tear in the abductor muscle 34 minutes into his Derby d’Italia debut. Since then, his season has been rocked by injury and he will again miss the next seven to eight games due to a hamstring injury, his fifth injury of the season.Despite his physical condition, Inter will still sign him in the summer, the report continues. The Nerazzurri will pay €27 million, with €3 million more to be added for the loan and the various add-ons. A discount could also come to light, thanks to the good relationship between the two clubs.

TuttoMercatoWeb: option to buy set at €20 million. The report explains that there are some members of Inter management who have doubts about keeping him. Moreover, the report goes on to explain that Inter management are questioning if the fee agreed with Sassuolo is perhaps too much. It seems almost certain that if Inter do decide they want to keep him they will seek a substantial discount from the Neroverdi side.

FcInterNews: Sassuolo want €20-22 million for the 24-year-old, whilst the Nerazzurri would prefer to pay €15 million. It’s likely that his loan will be extended to the 31st August to allow time for the player to shine in the remaining games of the season, although he is currently injured and won’t return until mid-July.

» What we know for sure is that Inter payed so far €3m for his 1 year long LOAN.

No shit, he’s worse than Recoba. At this rate, we definitely won’t take up the option.
Gentleman`s agreement - Marotta gave his word.

Wouldn't be the first time we break gentleman's agreement, we did that with Rafinha.
Yes, but Barca are pricks and you want to be in a good relationship with Italian clubs, especially Sassuolo who are growing (Italian) talent - could become a partner club for us in the long run. Just think of Manuel Locatelli, Duncan or Hamed Junior Traorè ;)

Send him back where the fuck he came from.
Why so harsh man? I`m sure he would love to play, he looked very determined at the start of the season.

I want the Sensi from beginning of the season back! He was a woldclass midfielder in the making!

As much as I love him I wouldn't sign him. Either another year on loan with option or send him back to Sossuolo.

Yeah I think they will agree on another loan with another gentlemant agreement. Or then a little discount for the fee this summer.

Sad to see what was a wonderful season, disrupted by so many injuries.

out for the rest of the season.

It’s only for a couple more weeks so he should be fit for the 1 EL game we have, where getafe pump us out of the tournament :trollol:

We should not exercise the option. When Sensi has been most needed, he has been absent. The guys injury problems are worse than Alvaro Recoba and he can't expect to keep riding his early season form to bank on a permanent move. Right now, given how little he has played and injury re-lapses, he is a huge risk. The club should try and get an extension on his loan deal or let him go because he has not worked out for us.

Sensi gamble just cost Valero, Godin, Ranos wages

So when you think of how shitty those 3 are plus our 2 backup goalies.

Does Sensi really seem like a bad gamble. I really don’t want to see him at AC Milan lighting us up.

Be honest. If right now we had a healthy Sensi. Would your prefer him or Eriksen who hasn’t shown much

I'd make this move with either continuing the loan for 1-2 years and it becomes permanent once certain number of played games is reached. Or then permanent transfer with a low fee and tie heavy bonuses to games played and so on.

If Sensi was bought by Milan or Roma would he he still be at them in view of his non stop injuries?
