I personally pref Jojo over Salah. I dont give a shit about inury histories, Jojo is a great player! Salah had one great half year with Fiorentina but he is not worth the whole stress or to lose other great players.

Only a fool wouldn't care about his injury history. If the responsibility was on me I would never spend 20M+ on him, even for 15M I would hesitate. Still prefer him over Salah though, no doubt about that, but the best option in my opinion is Mertens. He is not that much older and considering how young our squad is someone his age wouldn't be a bad thing. He is also the cheaper option and if we can make Guarin part of the payment then even better. Although it seems like the management is focused on getting Salah or Jovetic now. A shame because Mertens for 15M or so would be an excellent signing. Far smarter than paying more to get overhyped Salah or Jovetic whose injuries no sane person in the world can ignore. Jovetic has tremendous talent though, not arguing that.

Injury history is "history". There are many reasions for previous injuries and nobody says that the injury serie will go on. With the right training and the right doctors you can overcome it, look at Robben for example or van Persie...

How? He is so injury prone. This transfer market has been weird and don't want to judge it too soon but this obsession with Joevtic and Salah for 20 million blows my mind that is grossly over spending. Immobile is 12 million and could be gotten with a loan. Salah was only good for a few games and went he was at Basel. Joevtic was good at Fiorentina but was he ever the top scorer in the league?
