Easier to ask the questions are some of us are familiar with the city without being from thereGuys who is from Milan here? I have some questions about the city.
Always loved the eternal Lavezzi, Lucas transfer threadsFor some reason, I started reading some old transfer threads during my lunch break today.
Some members excited by the signing of Vecino, yet others not wanting him near the club. People not knowing who Martinez is, but optimistic. Doubt over the potential of Skriniar and Hazard. Some (including me) protesting the idea of signing Mascherano after the treble. There are some fun reads in there.
Lets be honest ! Lavezzi was our biggest guilty pleasureAlways loved the eternal Lavezzi, Lucas transfer threads

Irony was that I started that transfer Thread. How young and naive I wasThe doubts around Hazard being a good signing still haunt me. I remember Zanetti carrying on about him in an interview after having to defend against him in one of our glorious European ventures back in the day.
Schick in the right environment could flourish. Funny thing, Inter of back then - no, but Inter in 2023 for sure.Sadly i joined too late to enjoy peak banter era transfer threads but one of my favorite moments was forum meltdown when we missed on Schick.
Or we could just accept that we overrated him a ton and he was just a one season wonder...Schick in the right environment could flourish. Funny thing, Inter of back then - no, but Inter in 2023 for sure.
Not that i disagree with the notion of right time right place makes a huuge difference... But i also tend to think that talent usually shows if the player has the right mentality/work ethic....I don't want to say things like that because there are a lot of horror stories in football. Players that would've been a lot better if they only got the proper chance and were put in the league and team where they can play to their full potential.
Inter gave Icardi and Martinez a proper chance, but on the other hand we also don't trust our youngsters all that much and we also didn't really believe in Coutinho. Ofc it's hard to say which players would pan out, coaches try summer camps to see if there are any gems in the club, but even that doesn't really show everything the coach and staff wants to know.
There are so many footballers that actually can ball. They just need to get into the right club at the right time. Which is kinda why you can still see some "bad" players playing better in a different club or "good" players being shit somewhere else.
TL;DR Schick is a good football player, I could see him being a beast in current Inter team.

I was against signing Eto’o at the time. I also thought Juve got the better AM in Diego when we ended up with Sniejder. For some reason, I started reading some old transfer threads during my lunch break today.
