Guys try this, play with 4-4-2 (4-2-2-2) flat midfield with RM and LM slightly advanced, CM and DM in the middle, and a SS and CF upfront. I think it's the winning formation for this game.

Once you cut the ball pass it forward to the strikers, try to hold the ball between them for at least 4 seconds, then use the advanced wingers with 1-2s to overlap, then dont cross, get the ball in the box one of the advanced midfielders and you'll get plenty of options to pass to FWs or back to the wingers etc..also you could try the 1-2 between the two FWs, it becomes easier, It's also a winner in defending, much better than 4-3-3 or 3-5-2.

I opened plenty of spaces with this one, started beating teams in Top player by high scores, tempted to raise the difficulty now.

I played some online matches to see how shit people's connection would be. I won 7 games, playing with atletico. 1 game abandoned because the opponent had shit connection.

Literally 5 of the players chose PSG. 1 picked Real Madrid. 1 picked Spain NT. 1 picked Jube. I thought the PSG thing was interesting. I was assuming more EPL teams, but then I figured EPL fanboys would be on Fifa, not PES.


Dev - I've been playing 4-4-2 for a long time. And hybrids of it depending on team; for example, with Real M, It's 4 CMs (Isco and Modric as CMs in wide positions instead of RM/LM, Kroos and Casemiro as CMs), 1 SS (benz) and 1 WF (bale). Then set to Fluid formation, possession style, wide attack, overlapping WBs strategy, and centering targets strategy. Pretty cool and dynamic. Very realistic of Real. Also very risky in defense

This formation is pretty cool this game, but it wasn't as much in the previous 2 versions of the game. It's weird that every version has its own dominant formation

NO NO NO. That would be blasphemy. I would NEVER play with Juve.

What I meant was, the people I played against online, they chose PSG (5), Real (1), Jube (1), Spain NT (1). I played with Atletico.

I actually never played random matches online, the only online matches I played were through Myclub. Do you play myclub? What players do you have in it?

I'm highly skeptical. The jump between current version and this is just too big.
