Guys try this, play with 4-4-2 (4-2-2-2) flat midfield with RM and LM slightly advanced, CM and DM in the middle, and a SS and CF upfront. I think it's the winning formation for this game.
Once you cut the ball pass it forward to the strikers, try to hold the ball between them for at least 4 seconds, then use the advanced wingers with 1-2s to overlap, then dont cross, get the ball in the box one of the advanced midfielders and you'll get plenty of options to pass to FWs or back to the wingers etc..also you could try the 1-2 between the two FWs, it becomes easier, It's also a winner in defending, much better than 4-3-3 or 3-5-2.
I opened plenty of spaces with this one, started beating teams in Top player by high scores, tempted to raise the difficulty now.
