Could be wrong but I thought they'd taken over the lionrock share? Very true it looks messy situation for a minority owner, I just don't know how else we raise the equity to pay off debts. As you ? Posted above, the debts make a significant impact on the P&L for the year
they have taken over the lionrock share but as i understood it they bought that from lionrock... then suning pledged their holdings of the club for an aditional 270 or 280 mio euro loan...
Atleast thats how i understood it...
Like if the lionrock share is all the gets in to the hands of oaktree in case we default on the loan then who the fuck cares? default on that bitch and make em equity holders

Nike expires in 2024. We NEED to get a lot better deal from them. Over 30m minimum or change the provider.

There's an agreement with Nike for an extension till 2030 worth 24m/season.

bad sponsor + Skriniar fk up.......

even then we had to get to the fking champion league final to break fking even.

WE need to sell everyone over 4m in wages other than Bastoni and Barella. We need a salary cap and to get rid of trash players. It's insane to still be in the red

also someone posted teams that spent the most in the last 5 years. Says we spent 500m and are 10th in the last 5 years only 200m more than Man City or Real. WTF did we buy? I don't remember us buying anyone but Lukaku. Thought everyone else was free transfer.

I mean I understand the transfer don't include wages but we aren't that far off of what PSG spent and they spent 200 million on Mbappe and 222 on Neymar ! In 1 off season

Tbh a lot of crap transfers and revolving doors add up. Was that net or gross spend?

City has a reasonably stable core, so that helps them a lot

That's a fucking terrible deal if true. Was it officially signed? How the fuck we do these bad deals all the time? We learn nothing from the current deal. We signed that 10 year deal and now we sign 6 year deal, year or two in advance. Hopefully there are a lot of CL and trophy related bonuses at least. Because these numbers are disgusting.

Should, but I only say should, be by standard. We negotiated bonuses with Suning for winning the CL even before we were in it for example

It's not official, no. And now that i checked it the report is from last summer. Since then there's complete silence on the matter.

Yes, we had even that event with Nike but there was still no official deal.

So I'm hoping we can renegotiate better figures or just simply change the kit provider if Nike is being too cheap.

LionRock is another point of problems for this club. At any point, LionRock can recall the shares, and Suning will have to repay it (at whatever rate they agreed on), which IIRC amounts to something like €350m

Zhang used Inter as collateral to get the loan from Oaktree (I believe it was at 18 or 19% interest), so essentially, Oaktree can repo the club from them if they fail to pay off the loan in total, by this time next year. They want to refinance the loan, but in no sane world would Oaktree not increase the rate from sub 20%. They most likely will charge them an additional 5-10% interest for failure to repay, and only agree to a shorter term (12 months if even that).

This in addition with Zhang's (the family), being sued all over the place in China and losing every case, their debt is roughly around what they want for Inter.

Are you sure about that? Cause how Reuters reported it oaktree bought out LionRocks share(i also dont think they have a seat in the board any more ). So how I understood it Lionrock has no say in this whole matter any more and they cant recall any thing.

On the rest your correct.

Here is the reuters article: https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/s...-milan-336-million-financing-deal-2021-05-19/

Rate is 12%.

About LionRock, so Oaktree is already minority owner of Inter?
