Yeah, the whole system UEFA use to sell the tickets is crazy, the fact that when buying the ticket you only know a category and not a section is weird. Do you have the app downloaded? I think they need to transfer the ticket to you on the app, you can't just print the ticket out or use a PDF, you have to use the app
I don't have a ticket so I didn't download the app. I am still looking for 2 tickets

It might be worth downloading it because that would be how they transfer the ticket to you if you bought it from someone else, there's no other way to do it as far as I know.

You won't be able to buy derby matches until closer to the match day. I wouldn't sit with the curva.

Can't even see the prices yet for inter club members. I've been looking at arranging a trip to see this game but can't budget because I don't know how much it will cost. I'll be back one week from honeymoon and one of my best friends gets married 6 days later. Ridiculous they haven't made this clear yet.

They always only release tickets a couple of weeks before a match, not just for the derby but for all matches. Tickets for the derby always sell out very quickly, it is one of the biggest games of the season after all. They also need to move any season ticket holders from 2nd tier blue to other sections, something that only happens for the derby and probably slows down tickets being released.

On what tickets to get, for a normal match I'd say 2nd tier orange might be good for a first match, maybe try and get it close to the curva for a better atmosphere. Or 3rd tier green it's high up but still not too bad of a view. For the derby, take whatever you can get.

I have a question for people that go to the stadium regularly. I bought tickets for the derby in the sector X03. I just realised that is close to the curva sud. Is it a problem if i go there with my inter shirt and scarf? I wanted to be on the side of the curva nord but messed up. Does anybody have any experience with that? I'm taking my little brother and don't want any trouble.

No you won't sit in the Curva and you will see Inter and Bilan fans sitting next to eachother because it's normal. The only derby I've visited where this is possible.

As long as you don't wear a Kondogbia shirt you will be fine.

For the CL derby last I was in the front row of green 3, right behind the curva sud, and there was one guy trying to climb over to start trouble but the other Milan fans were stopping him. I think the only way you'd have trouble would be if you were in their curva, which I think you'd be stopped before you got there if you were wearing Inter colours. You'll have a great time and hopefully see a good win. I'm really looking forward to it, especially since I can't go to this weekend.

Get an Inter Tessera or subscribe to a local Interclub. Not guaranteed but at least it's your best shot in the open market

Are you sure they are even available at all? The website says now they are sold-out, although there might be last-minute availability, and those I'm not sure would be easy to get due to potential demand and scarcity. At this stage I think it's better to buy them 2nd-hand if one wants to have 100% certainty to get to the match.
