We didn't recapture any form there. Nothing changed. I said after that match, that credit should go to Palacio and no one else. Neither Strama nor the rest of the team deserved that win. Nothing changed in terms of play, tactics, tempo or passing.

Palacio cannot save us every day.

You usually don't beat someone who is at the ground. Punishment enough to be a Inter supporter and have to put up with this shit from game to game.

In a way you can blame how we have been forced to play Chivu at CB, which should never happen, and Juan at LB becase Naga is out. With no Samuel, it's how we end up so shocking. We need to buy CBs I don't see how they don't see this.

Gargano was also a poor choice, especially trying to win the ball in the air. Then you have the fact that we had to play Cassano up front for most of the game alone.

I'm not saying we would have won with a full strength team, but look at the terribleness we have to deal with to begin with. Transfers are the problem I think.

why did we play Chivu at CB and JJ at LB? That was a lot of our problems. Chivu isnt dominant in the air -> 3rd goal. JJ pushes up too high at LB -> 2nd goal. Swap them around, problem would have been fixed.

THAT is a tactical mistake by Strama.

JJ pushed up 10-20 yards ahead of the defensive line to mark the man - and we played high enough that lennon had space to use his pace to beat JJ, and then he had space to cross and stuff at will.

No, but the point is with Chivu at LB getting beaten easily, you have JJ who is MUCH more dominant in the air at CB. We accept that we're going to concede ground on the wings - its fine. What isnt fine is JJ making too easy for Lennon to get space, and Chivu not being dominant enough in the air to stop the balls in.

Swap them around, Chivu will be tighter to the defensive line and keep higher pressure on Lennon as he tries to cross - giving him less space to accelerate. JJ will be dominant in the air, so when we have less crosses, JJ will win more of them.
