This month we'll be coming up to the 10th year anniversary of our Treble year triumphs. It's amazing how time has flown by yet it all still feels like it happened just yesterday.

I'd like to see people post their feelings, comments, pics & videos as we approach each date for each of the league, coppa and CL triumphs. It would be great if we can dig out rare or rarely seen pics/videos.

At this time 10 years ago, I felt more anxious and hopeful than actually confident of winning it all, yet we pulled off our most successful and historic month in the clubs history.

I remember the night of CL final as if it was yesterday. I was watching the match at a pub with two mates, a Barcelona fan and a Bayern fan. Both of them wanted Bayern to win against "anti-football" Inter. My explosive celebrations in their faces during our goals were really satisfying. Best day of my life as an Interista.

Time has not flown by, it’s been nothing short of an utter ball ache watching our club for the past 10 years. Very little highs and a shit tonne of frustrations and lows along the way.

And people are meant to enjoy their 20s...

Think I aged double in those 10 years since the treble just thanks to Inter alone :awyeah:

#TIMELESS2010: OUR TREBLE ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES
Ten years on from Inter’s famous treble, the club is unveiling its #Timeless2010 campaign, consisting of online video content and a range of dedicated products.

MILAN – Timeless moments, engraved in history like words on silverware. This is the slogan for #Timeless2010, the Inter campaign powered by Pirelli that reminisces about the club’s historic treble ten years on.

The initiative will involve exclusive products and content, which will be gradually revealed to Nerazzurri fans over the coming weeks.

The first range of limited edition #Timeless2010 themed garments is available from today at the official Inter store.

Designed in partnership with Outline Studio Milano design studio, the collection is a series of garments that combine elements of the Timeless2010 campaign with Generation Z style. This first line-up will be followed in the coming weeks by other exclusive Timeless2010 products, aimed at supporters and those who are passionate about the Nerazzurri.

In addition to these dedicated products, a range of content will be published on Inter’s various social media channels as part of the campaign. The first hero video, published today on Inter's social media channels, will be followed by further content retracing the club’s victories in the Coppa Italia, Scudetto and the UEFA Champions League in May 2010. There will also be never-before-seen contributions and other surprises for fans.

I watched this at my brothers house. My cousin made us a fake ucl and all out of cardboard and tin foil. Lol had flags and all up around the house kitted out and had friends over. Will always remember that. I was too young to get into clubs etc at that stage so I couldn't even really do much when we won which was annoying. My brother went out to a nightclub in Ireland with a long sleeve inter Jersey (08-09 one) and a blue and black afro we got in Milan. He got black out drunk of course, lucky fuck!

There are a few moments that rush to my mind from 2010:

1. I was still studying (so low on cash) but still managed to spend 210 Euro on a ticket for that game. I wanted to see this beautiful team play live in front of me, with all the (felt they going to be) legends in there, from Jay-Z to Mourinho. It was Inter playing against Chievo, should have been an easy match at home. Game started with 2 own-goals, then we were leading 4-1 only to suffer in our typical way until the end.

Atmosphere was wicked, I remember how my friend (at the time living in Milano) was sitting in another area, and I thought "hmm.. with such an expensive ticket, I should be able to access other (cheaper) areas of the stadium without issues". And that`s exactly what I did, switched positions a couple of times, from being 7 meters away from the bench ( hi Chivu :D ) to immersing in the Curva Nord. It was my first experience (and I`m not talking about the weed I smelled in there lol) as a match at Giuseppe Meazza and it was truly memorable, we went on to win 4-3! :proud:

Here are the highlights:

You can see Deki hitting the crossbar right from the beginning. What impressed me most was that before the game, during the warmup, players were shooting from outside the area and Stankovic was a MACHINE! Every single show was placed with an insane accuaricy, over & over again. Impressed.

2. UCL Finals: There was no Inter or Juventus fanclub in my hometown, I have watched the finals from the AC Milan fanclub  (which is basically a betting agency that streams games in a room full of screens).

Since I was pretty confident (and cocky), I have brought my own bottle of "champagne" {aka sparkling wine} and opened it at the end of the match. :D

TIMELESS2010: 5 THINGS YOU MAY NOT REMEMBER ABOUT THE TREBLE

Assists, goals, appearances, saves and anecdotes from the 2009/10 season

MILAN– Maicon’s four days, the tireless Javier Zanetti, Julio Cesar’s everpresence in the league, Eto’o from Barcelona to Madrid, the Camp Nou time machine and the Eyjafjallajokull volcano. Here are five things you may not remember from the Treble-winning season:

1 – MAICON’S FOUR DAYS

In his Nerazzurri career, Douglas Sisenando Maicon had never scored two goals in two consecutive matches. That was until the ‘Colossus’ scored two extraordinarily difficult and important goals on 16 and 20 April, against Juventus and then Barcelona. The first was a magnificent display of skill and power as he controlled the ball with four incredible touches before thumping a volley into the Bianconeri’s goal. The second was a crucial goal that paved the way to the Final in Madrid as he controlled Milito’s pass and slotted it past Valdes in the Champions League semi-final first leg. The Brazilian also stood out in the 2009/10 season for his assists as he set up his teammates on eleven occasions.

2 – THE TIRELESS JAVIER ZANETTI

He never stopped moving up and down the flank, both on the pitch and in training. The tireless Javier Zanetti played 55 out of Inter’s 57 games during the Treble-winning season. He only missed two matches: the Coppa Italia round of 16 (Inter 1-0 Livorno) and the match at San Siro against Bologna in the league. In the remaining 55 games, he always started and was only subbed off once: in the 2-2 draw against Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League group stage when he came off for Marco Materazzi in the 86th minute.

3 – 3420 MINUTES FOR JULIO CESAR IN THE LEAGUE

Throughout his 300 Nerazzurri appearances, Julio produced indescribable moments and sealed crucial wins thanks to his instincts and ability to read the game and fly between the sticks, so much so that he became irreplaceable. In the 2009/10 season, Julio Cesar didn’t miss a single minute in Serie A as he defended Inter’s goal for 3420 minutes out of a possible 3420. As the Brazilian ‘keeper told us in hindsight, his three most important saves were at the Camp Nou to deny Messi, against Müller in the final and finally to thwart Aquilani against Roma.

4 – ETO’O, FROM BARCELONA TO MADRID

Running, searching for goals, hard work, skill and above all sacrifice. Samuel Eto’o is a perfect mix of all those, he’s a player who has trained himself over the years to achieve one thing: win. After winning the Treble with Barcelona, at Inter the Lion King showed that hunger can be fed by ambition and passion for football. From Barcelona to Madrid, the Cameroonian first played a match full of sacrifices as he played wide left to help the defence after Thiago Motta’s sending off, then he spurred the team on at the Bernabeu with his speech before the final:“Either we die on the pitch and take home the trophy, or we die because we didn’t bring it to Milan.”

5 – THE TIME MACHINE

The relativity of space and time between the last two steps towards the Final in Madrid deserves a chapter of its own. First, there was the never-ending six minutes plus added time of Barcelona vs. Inter. Then there was the Finnish volcano, Eyjafjallajokull, that forced Barcelona to travel to Milan by bus, not plane, because of the cloud of smoke and ash that closed Europe’s airspace. It also brought forward Inter’s departure to Madrid, which meant they had a three-day-long build-up to the final.

30 GOALS TOWARDS THE TREBLE: ALL OF MILITO’S GOALS IN 2009/10

Facts, statistics and a video on a formidable season for our Argentinian attacker

MILAN*- You can use numbers, statistics or video replays to look back on Diego Milito’s 2009/10 season. But none of that will be enough to capture a series of sensational performances, which, combined with an extraordinary team, contributed to success in the league, the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.

Ten years on from that amazing Nerazzurri Treble, and along with the launch of our*#Timeless2010campaign*powered by Pirelli, we relive Diego Milito’s goal-filled adventure that year with a video at the end of the article, our centre-forward’s first year in Nerazzurri colours.

30 goals
Diego Milito*played*52 games*in the 2009/10 season,*scoring*30 goals: 22 (just like his shirt number) in Serie A, four of which were penalties, which placed him second in the race for the Golden Boot behind Di Natale; six in the Champions League and two in the Coppa Italia. His first goal of the season (as well as Milito’s first-ever goal in Nerazzurri colours) came from the penalty spot in a Derby win over AC Milan (4-0 “away”). His last? Obviously that historic second goal against Bayern Munich on 22 May 2010.

On the scoresheet in 28 different games
One of the most Diego Milito’s most impressive statistics from the 2009/10 season is our Argentinian attacker’s incredible distribution of his goals.*His 30 goals came in 28 different games: only two braces for Milito, one on 20 September in a 2-1 win in Cagliari, and the other on 22 May (22 again!) in that Champions League final brace against Bayern Munich. An exceptional record.

A Milito goal almost always means a win
Out of the 28 games in which Diego Milito scored, Inter won on 22 occasions, with the remaining results split across four draws and just two defeats: a 3-1 loss in Catania and a 2-1 defeat against the Giallorossi in Rome.*Milito scored the match-winning goal on eleven occasions.

13 goals out of 30 at San Siro
Milito scored 13 goals at San Siro in 2009/10, 14 on the road and three at “neutral grounds”: one at the Olimpico in Rome in the Coppa Italia final and two at the Bernabeu in the Champions League final.

Where all 30 of Milito’s goals came from
In that extraordinary year, Milito scored*27 of his goals from inside the area (four from the spot) and just three from outside the box. Those three goals from further than 18 yards out came against CSKA Moscow, Atalanta and Chievo, all at San Siro. Of his 30 goals,*23 were off his right foot, five were off his left and two were headers*(against Udinese and Barcelona).

Italian football is always anti football for them. But the result is always the same: Germany loses, Italy wins.

NO GLORY WITHOUT WITHOUT SUFFERING: 2009/10, TEN DIFFICULT MOMENTS
As part of the #Timeless2010 campaign powered by Pirelli, we look back at the difficulties experienced during the Triplete season

MILAN – There’s no glory without suffering. Difficult moments are experienced every season, and such times are often accompanied by worried thoughts about the future. But when there are difficulties, it’s incumbent on a team to stick together, to summon mental strength, to begin the run-up and go again. We’ve chosen ten moments which represented turning points in the glorious 2009/10 season. From the summer transfer window to the final in Madrid, you can find the video at the bottom of this article.

1. Ibrahimovic, the No.10 shirt, Samuel Eto'o
Inter’s 2009 summer tour began with a change: after previously wearing the No.8 shirt, Zlatan Ibrahimovic opted to switch to No.10, which had belonged to Adriano prior to this. But images of Ibrahimovic playing with this new number on his back would be limited: the Swede was sold to Barcelona. However, as part of the deal, Samuel Eto'o headed in the opposite direction. Inter’s attack was about to begin a new chapter: on 28 July, Eto’o was presented to the Nerazzurri faithful. His first words would prove to be prophetic: “I’ll work hard to win everything.”

2. The Supercoppa Italiana defeat and Mourinho’s quotes
Inter’s season began with a disappointing defeat to Lazio in the Supercoppa Italiana: on 8 August 2009, it finished 2-1 to the Biancocelesti thanks to goals from Matuzalem and Rocchi, with Samuel Eto’o’s goal proving to be just a consolation. A trophy which Inter weren’t able to get their hands on, but José Mourinho cut to the chase following the match: “A new way of playing is coming together, we’re a real team and have a promising future,” were his words after giving his medal to a fan who’d flown from Italy to China.

3. The draw against Bari and Wesley Sneijder’s arrival
The Supercoppa Italiana defeat followed by a sluggish start in the league: on matchday one, the Nerazzurri were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Bari. Eto’o gave Mourinho’s men the lead from the penalty spot before Kutuzov brought the away side level. It was then time for the arrival of Wesley Sneijder, who joined from Real Madrid just in time for the Derby on matchday two. “I’m finally here,” said the Dutchman prior to selecting the No.10 shirt. The attacking playmaker for Mourinho’s 4-3-1-2 formation had finally been signed.

4. The defeat against Barcelona, a lesson for the future
On 24 November 2009, Inter were beaten 2-0 by Barcelona, with Guardiola leaving out Messi and Ibrahimovic for the full 90 minutes. The result was never in doubt, as Mourinho himself admitted. It was a lesson that Inter comprehensively took on board and one which would prove very useful as the team prepared for their semi-final Champions League clash against the same opponents later on.

5. Chivu’s head injury and his return to action
On 6 January, Cristian Chivu suffered a terrible head injury. The man himself recently told us about his remarkable experience during that period, with his return coming 77 days later. He then bagged his first Nerazzurri goal in Inter’s important 3-1 victory over Atalanta.

6. Two red cards in Inter vs. Sampdoria, an unlucky draw
On 20 February 2010, Inter vs. Sampdoria finished 0-0 at San Siro. But it’s a game which is difficult to forget: Samuel was sent off after 31 minutes before Cordoba was given his marching orders seven minutes later. However, despite being down to nine men (against eleven and then ten), Inter had a number of opportunities to win the match and could consider themselves very unfortunate not to emerge victorious. On top of this, there was a high price to pay: Cambiasso and Muntari would be suspended for two matches, while Samuel and Cordoba would have to sit one fixture out. Furthermore, Mourinho would be forced to watch from the stands for three games following his remonstrations with referee Tagliavento.

7. The defeat to Catania, the win in London
Between March and April, Inter experienced their most difficult spell of the campaign, with the Nerazzurri suffering a potentially hugely damaging defeat in Catania. It was undoubtedly a blow. But Inter responded in the best possible manner four days later as Eto’o’s goal secured a 1-0 win against Chelsea in the round of 16 second-leg clash between the sides in London. José Mourinho’s switch to a 4-2-3-1 formation had paid off.

8. The defeat in Rome, the win in Rome
Roma 2-1 Inter, goals from De Rossi, Milito and Toni. This was a big setback, with Inter on the ropes and just one point ahead of the Giallorossi following the clash in the capital. But lessons were learnt: on 5 May, the Nerazzurri beat Roma at the Olimpico in the Coppa Italia final to win their first trophy of the season.

9. The draw in Florence, Roma take top spot before Inter hit back
Julio Cesar was unable to claim the ball and Kroldrup scored in scrappy fashion: the 2-2 draw between Fiorentina and Inter led to Roma overtaking the Nerazzurri in the league. Inter were second for two matchdays, beating Juventus and Atalanta as they looked to regain top spot. And Mourinho’s men did just that thanks to the Giallorossi’s home defeat to Sampdoria. With 35 games played, it was in the Nerazzurri’s hands again.

10. Digging in at Camp Nou, a glorious night in Madrid
In their semi-final second-leg showdown against Barcelona in the Champions League, Inter were reduced to ten men on the half-hour mark following Thiago Motta’s sending off. A game where the Nerazzurri had to dig in, a defeat which opened the doors to the final in Madrid. A match that Inter would win.

One of the hardest moments (for me) was probably the moment when Roma was wining at the last Match day while Inter was still 0-0 against Siena. I was really starting to think that we will not win the league. Or not to forget too the return leg against Barcellona, it was really 90 minutes suffering. And when Keita scored that handball i was sure it was regular and only wanted to cry in that seconds :yao2:

Can't forget to thank :pazzini: as well

Not only Pazzo but also FantAntonio :proud: 2 of my all time favourite players

dat save too from Storari at 3:25. Riise´s outside shots were always amazing.
