How'd u describe the rivalry between four clubs of one city? Do all 4 hate on each other or maybe two of them are more or less closer. I kinda metaphorize this as 4 clubs playing one football match on the same one pitch at 4 goals.

Galatasaray-Fenerbahce: Hates each other

Besiktas-Fenerbahce: Hates each other

Galatasaray-Besiktas: Don't hate each other that much. More sensible rivalry, but does not mean that they like the rival.

As for Istanbul Belediye, the big 3 do not care about them But that team is bogey for all big teams in Turkey.

But I guess the most bitter hate is between Besiktas and Bursaspor in Turkey, due to Bursaspor fans' allegations of Besiktas causing them relegate in 2004.

There used to be saying when i was a child, and it kinda still goes on for years and years...

Besiktas always beats Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce always beats Galatasaray.
Galatasaray always beats Besiktas.

And this explains the situation for last 20~ years.

As a Besiktas fan, i can say that Besiktas hate against Galatasaray isn't low either, in fact prior Galatasaray games, people keeps saying that our actual enemy is Galatasaray because of the incident in 1992/93 season. (Where Besiktas accuses Galatasaray to fix games to win the title)

And Bursaspor thing is just a disgrace...

For 7 years long, Federation did not let those teams fans to go away games against each other, and they finally opened doors last year, letting Bursaspor fans to come to Istanbul. And see what happened just outside the stadium:

6 months later Besiktas was invited to Bursa and Bursaspor fans surrounded the hotel Besiktas PLAYERS were residing...

The police did not let Besiktas fans enter the city of Bursa and the game was cancelled (3-0 for Besiktas).


And now, the Federation stepped back, and they announced that they won't let any away fans in Besiktas-Bursa games this season... Besiktas will play against Bursaspor in Bursa on Thursday (2 days later), and there won't be any Besiktas fans. I just hope nothing bad happens to our players.

As I am waiting for our special Novara game (!), there will be a truly special game will be played in Turkey tonight, Fenerbahce-Manisaspor, Matchday 3 in Turkish Super Lig.

Why is it special?

Fenerbahce was banned for 3 (IIRC) games behind closed doors at home. However, the Turkish Federation changed the rules and removed that ban PERMANENTLY from the disciplinary actions. Instead, from now on, only LADIES and CHILDREN under 12 will attend the banned games, FREE OF CHARGE. This is a first in the history of football.

I just saw the stadium on TV, it is very interesting. Voices are really different

TFF just made another huge scandal. Besiktas flied to Gaziantep last night with whole squad to play against Gaziantepspor, and as soon as they arrived to airport they have been called by Portugal, Slovakian and Austrian Federations to send their players (Quaresma, Holosko and Ekrem) as soon as possible and they didn't let us use our players at tonights game, so Quaresma, Holosko and Ekrem flied back to Istanbul and then flied to their countries to join their NT squads. And then it turned out that NO FEDERATION in Europe scheduled any football game for Monday (because of this NT issue) except fucking Turkish Football Federation..... And now because of bad scheduling by TFF, we have to play without 4 of our first eleven players. (Sivok, Quaresma, Holosko and Ekrem)

This morning we requested TFF to postpone the game to another date, and our request has been refused... okerface:

Not really a scandal there stun...just bad management. But then again, would you expect anything less from TFF. teams miss players all the time due to being away on international duty.

I've been watching the big teams thisseason....seems an interesting season....the top teams are up tere and will probablky finish for the play-offs.

Besiktas was lucky to leave with a draw at Gaziantep.
