Esposito and Eriksen are playing a very disjointed game from the rest, making bad decisions and misplace passes. Young, on the other hand, has been great.

Well this looks just bad Eriksen our second worst player after Esposito

What irritates me more is people here were lauding him like we were getting Ronaldinho in his prime. Iv seen nothing from this guy that made me think he was anything exceptional. HOpefully he can prove me wrong

Yeah. And Lukaku again jogging or walking lazily everywhere, losing possession and shit.

honestly, his form is poor after the last 18 months, but look at his spurs stats. Guy is world class, and we know I dont use that lightly.

Again none of them have been poor individually. Esposito and Skriniar were the most average ones for sure. But we just lack the tempo and any sort of chemistry. Absolutely no two players seem to be aware of the other.

Barella and Vecino aren't linking up. Eriksen is on an island. Lukaku and Esposito haven't an understanding of the other.

What we need to change is move faster. Hate seeing our defence stroll out with the ball. And Moses has been hugging the flank, but no one is able to switch the ball out to him.

Ahhh the annual mid-winter collapse where we edge our way closer to 4th rather than 1st. Grande

If Brozo is fit enough for the bench, get him out there immediately. Sanchez too. Stop dicking around Conte.

Also why do I see people mentioning Esposito more than Lukaku as the worst player? At least Esposito was running his ass off, Lukaku is too lazy to even jump for the ball. He lost too many balls today.

So what was this Esposito starting shit? Awful game. Half-time substitution to Alexis?

Bad showing from Esposito but to be fair he has one shot more on target as Sanchez had the last game...

Lukaku was supposed to be the main threat to them, so that would create space for Esposito. But since that isn't happening, we are struggling so much in attack. Esposito can't do shit himself, he is too inexperienced and Udinese has a very physical team.

In fact, I'm a little disappointed on Eriksen as he looks careless out there. I'm aware that he can't do magic and fix everything, but at least he has to be competent enough to make a run or effort on winning the second ball.

We are missing so much tonight, literally we are missing grinta. Hopefully a better performance is on the way on second half. Forza Inter!

So here's a brief half time report.

Padelli is doing well. Two good saves here and also got a hand in that other chance they had.

No clue what Victor Moses is doing today. He tried a bit up front, he seems tactically lost with the exception of the evident direction he has to stay up front when Udinese has a dangerous set piece. Which then leaves our right flank exposes as it happened when Lukaku was somehow in charge of covering for him and he was like "okay, you go back now" and the only thing that did happen was Udinese had another chance from our right

Ashley Young is the usual. Very slow reactions, but combative. He's a guy who's going to give you a solid 6/10 performance throughout. Not good enough of course but whatever.

Both Bastoni and Skriniar are struggling but that has more to do with the lack of help they receive from our wide players than anything. De Vrij heads and shoulders our best defender tonight.

Barella is doing well. Vecino is okay-ish, end product is below par as expected.

Esposito is doing okay given the occasion.

Lukaku has been completely shit and as usual, if he scores everyone won't remember how catastrophic he's being. I'd give him a 2/10 so far and that's not a 0 or 1 because he at least managed to give a couple of correct passes.

Now Eriksen. Obviously lost tactically. He either has no clue of where to stand and where to press or he has some weird directions from the coaching team. He is realizing that he's going to struggle to find space in Serie A and tries to be more instant in his decisions. The role does not suit him for sure. Especially without a good cover from the wings. And it's not like Barella-Vecino is the greatest ever duo you could have behind you.

This game cries "difference maker to decide this". And that for us for the time being is only an energized Alexis Sanchez. And he doesn't feel energized these days, still suffering from an injury. It's unfair on the kid to sub him out but we all know that Conte won't take Lukaku off. And it wouldn't make sense either to do that. The best idea would be to change style, strategy and formation but we all know our coach is too fucking stubborn to do that.

You also see the bench and realize that not so much is going on there other than just fill in for someone else in pretty much the same role. I'm expecting Candreva for Victor Moses, Alexis for Esposito and depending on result and urgency, either D'Ambrosio or Brozovic here.
