Neymar did the “Haaland” meditating celebration after scoring, then the whole team was doing it after the game and in the locker rooms too.

Is there some bad blood I missed? Did Haaland shit talk them or something? I know the kid has a certain “way of speaking” and can come off a bit arrogant at times but it seems classless to goad him so much.

Idiot Di Maria getting suspended for next round by getting a yellow while sitting on the bench.

If there is a next round, that is.

Some Michael Owen quotes after the game

"Teams across Europe will breathe a sigh of relief now Liverpool are out”

“Yes they’ve been beaten over two legs and knocked out of Europe but they’re the best team in Europe at the minute”

“Liverpool LITERALLY blew them away”

"Atletico players will be in the dressing saying, how good is that team we've just beat, we've never played anything like that."

Micheal Owen is a world class idiot.

Nothing like humour... and that was nothing like humour from Diego Costa. Walks through mixed zone, ignores all requests from Spanish media for interviews then coughs - theatrically - repeatedly as he breezes past. He was the only who laughed.

EPL fans and their self-felatic boasting is really getting old. If they were to tell me "good morning" I would probably instinctively glance outside of a window to double check at this point.

Liverpool will get their EPL glory, plus back to back CL titles aren't exactly common. Happy for Atletico and I really found Klopp's comments after the game to be in poor taste. Who are you to criticize opponent's football if they outbeat you in result? Worse than Mourinho can be.

Didn't get to watch the game but saw the extended HLs.

Seems fair to conclude that once Liverpool got the 2-0 they still pressed up high and tried for another goal instead of taking the back seat for a while, resting their players, lowering the tempo and forcing Atletico to play in a manner that they weren't comfortable in. Surely one goal was enough to send Atletico through and it didn't happen until that Adrian bad clearance (not entirely his fault they conceded as they were tactically a mess in that sitation but it was a very poor decision). And after the goal Atletico got the upper hand with a mental boost and just did more of the same.

So yeah, Klopp lost the game in extra time but he could have sealed the win in the first 90 minutes.

I hope u guys enjoyed the 2 last big games of the season the last night.
Amazing the win by Atletico, Liverpool had 4 o 5 CLEAR chances to score a lot of goals like they did against Barcelona last year.

Nothing. PSG players are bunch of kids who care about social media attention rather than football.

EDIT: apparently Haaland started it when he responded to a PSG fan in Snapchat by “Paris is my city, not yours”. Well I can say he deserved it, still doesnt change my opinion about PSG. If there’s a next round, they will be eliminated by any team in the CL.

At the end of the day Haaland is is 19 years old and what he said on snapchat wasn't that serious, PSG have players who are pushing 30 and 40 and who act like 10 year olds, you have a player In Mbappe who literally his celebration is a crying emoji and someone like Neymar who for the last 10 years has spent more time diving on a a football field than playing on it.

Its all friendly bantering at the end of the day between both clubs and players so no one should take what anyone did that serious.

Mbappe is just 21...

People don't understand that players are kids in their 20s and early 30s that mostly didn't have to "grow up" into adulthood the standard way.

It's just kids playing around. Why pay so much attention to it?

Diego Costa looks, acts and plays like the missing link between Neanderthals and Homo Erectus.

Read on twitter that journalists mocked the asian (not sure Chinese or Korean) staff by coughing at her, so Diego Costa mocked them when he was with that staff.

Liverpool confirms 10 coronavirus cases after Atletico Madrid visit

There has been widespread criticism of Atletico de Madrid fans being in Liverpool after the English city confirmed 10 new cases of coronavirus.

There were 3,000 fans of Atleti in the English city to see their team record a memorable Champions League victory on Wednesday night, but the decision to allow fans into the match had been met with great skepticism and alarm.

Marca cites the Liverpool Echo in quoting a public health expert who criticised the decision of allowing the fans to come in from the Spanish capital – with multiple coronavirus cases – to drink in the bars and potentially spread the virus.

Liverpool has 10 new cases of the virus confirmed on Thursday – six from Liverpool itself, three from the Wirral and one from Sefton.

There are 1388 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the city of Madrid – while Spain has a total of 2968, with 88 deaths to date.

Costa is a moron, but well

As for PSG and Haaland, Haaland deserved it. He did that celebration after scoring vs PSG, and mocked them after the game, both on twitter and in an interview. It's understandable PSG players did that.
