Pot 3 or 4: Real Sociedad, Celtic

Pot 4: Newcastle, Union Berlin, Lens

The remaining 6 teams will be determined by qualifying rounds.

Agree, but as of today, with Inter's current personnel, every group combination maybe a "group of death".

Based on country coefficients for the upcoming season (23/24), with the new CL format for 24/25, there is potential of top 5 Serie A teams this season qualifying to next season's CL. There are 4 additional spots from UEFA, 2 of them going to the two countries that perform best over the course of the upcoming European season.

Using 2022/2023 as an example, if the new CL format was coming for this season (23/24), it would have meant that an additional team from EPL (Liverpool) and Serie A (Atalanta) would have qualified to the CL.

That's the last season of the CL as we know it... I just watched a video on YT that reminded me the bitter fact that they'll be changing the format from the 2024/25 season to be more like a league.

yep and there will be also the new format of Club world cup, i think in 2 years or already next year. 32 teams, probably 12 or something like that will be from europe. And i read that Inter could be there too if they continue perfoming well in CL. They anyway have still to decide the rules so it's not sure how it works. Fact is that we will see a lot of changes with this new formats...

Yeah there will be 12 teams from UEFA. Four teams are champions of UCL from 2021 to 2024. So Chelsea, Real Madrid and Man City have already qualified. The other 8 teams are based on 4 year UEFA ranking. Inter might be eligible to play in the tournament.
