I think Barca is underrated alot. They are surely top3 favorites after City and Real.

If they get a good result tonight they are in the final. Basically theres only ultra motivated Mbappe to take care of. His last PSG wave to surf.

The City - Real game was a modern classic.

Great technique on Valverde's goal, and that Bernardo Silva free kick was incredibly intelligent move.


Arsenal on the other hand was their own worst enemy, they should've destroyed Bayern but they don't have that killer mentality in them (yet?). Saka throwing himself on the floor instead of shooting in the last minute was idiotic.

I mean, you can't have a 3-3 game with fantastic defending, you can't really have a 0-0 game with fantastic attacking...you gotta pick one or the other really.

Having said that, at least three of the goals (Foden, Gvardiol, Valverde) were certified bangers...sometimes you get scored on no matter what you're doing defensively, and the Gvardiol goal more than any of them is one of those "tip your cap" goals...Foden's goal was great but he was also free in Zone 14 which is the result of a defensive breakdown.

Don't get the wrong impression, I'm not inherently biased against 0-0 games, I've seen plenty of those that were reasonably fine on the eyes if not on the scoreboard, just that my broader point is that, odds are, if the attacking is good on one or both sides, odds are there's going to be at least one goal scored at some point.

I agree on the bangers again the game was entertaining and i enjoyed it but i also had to shake my had at the defenses multiple time and i m not only talking about the goals especially city had some more blunders where real simply could not capitalize..

Basically i m afraid will see football go he way of the NBA where defending is an after thought at best cause we ll do everything for entertainments sake
