This is why we need to sign Correa, we need some dribbling to tear up their position, all they were doing were pressure and intercept in a nice team structure; for now they need to dribble a bit when they have the space, there is no need to do one touch pass every time. Terrible first half, lots of misplaced passes, lots of unforced errors, lots of nervous players.

We have started poor last year, but picked up with pace afterwards, maybe this season pattern repeats. We need more runs from the flanks, Correa should be brought in 2nd half.
Darmian is doing fine, he had 2-3 nice tackles already, does his job so far. Perisic average performance so far, not bad in defense but not bringing anything up.

The reason why Inter was fourth last season in CL was because Conte disliked Eriksen and decided to field gags when we needed to win and Lukaku blocked Sanchez’s header.

There’s a distinct lack of composure from us at the moment. All we have done is frantically pass the ball around. It appears that we are trying to make a lot of difficult passes and are not really getting anywhere. Also, I feel that for most of this season, we will miss the understanding that Martinez and Lukaku had up front.
