If your worried about the price, don't expect a pricedrop until holiday season 2015. So you might as well pick one up now.

PS4 is not yet worthy of getting. The first batch of games are never that good.

PS3 + getting PS+ = playing great games for cheap. That's my philosophy now, still have a lot of PS3 games to play (altho no time to play them, at least not now)

But this is the best thing right now.

How's the difference? Worth of moving on from PS3/360? I've got this oldass 360 and I'm thinking of moving on to PS4, playing mainly FIFA but will get NBA2K and some other games too.

In FIFA the graphics are just a little bit better. The crowds and Stadiums look great though. Gameplay-wise it's pretty much the same thing as much as I know. If you play a game like inFamous: Second Son you're really going to see a good bit of next-gen (or now current-gen i guess?!?).

For the moment you should keep your ps3 cause there aren't a lot of triple A titles. Although I've got to tell you all the Indies are great. The Indies are now where it's at. You don't pay a lot and get a great and unique experience. I was sceptical of Indies at first but they are really fun and worth a shot. You'll end up really liking them.

So if you have the money and you would like a taste of ps4 you can buy it now since the price isn't gonna drop anyway.

You can also wait for the Destiny-Bundle to get a white ps4

Cheers. Lag-wise, is PS4 really a noticeable improvement over PS3? I'm using 360 actually, but I guess they're both the same. I am annoyed by the lag (When turning the console on, starting a game, load screens, etc..) although when playing online it might be related to the game servers and my own connection.

I don't mind the price so much, but I'm not one of those who rush to buy everything new just for the sake of having it.

Well I guess opinion differs, I personally thought there was quite a change as it plays much better as its smoother and graphics are a little better. I hated FIFA14 on PS3, instantly loved it on PS4, feels a tiny bit more realistic.

If you've got money for the PS4 and you know you're gonna get it anyway then just buy it now.. A lot of games are pretty cheap now too, on places like eBay.. I believe NBA2K14 is free for PS+ members (which you'll need to play online anyway)

Shit thing is you can't use external devices like USB or hard drives to play music or film, but I'm sure they'll change it in the future.

Nah I know for sure that it's only free for ps3...the game for ps4 is "Stick it to the man" or something like that.

Edit: Oh an at interista4. the lag is not there. If you mean the loading screens and switching through the menus, the ps4 version is way faster there than the ps3 version.

My sister bought PS4, however we`ve been having a serious problem to buy anything on the PSN including ofcourse the monthly PSplus. The problem is mainly because we`re from Egypt, and Egypt is in Africa, and Sony are racist son of a... oh man Im fasting cant swear, but you get the point.

I tried paying via my debit card but it said transaction cant be made, I called the bank and they said some sites/services on the internet claim to accept debit cards but they actually dont.

So I tried my credit card but still got me the same message, then I called the bank again and they told me the transaction cant be made because your registration on Sony network says you are from Emirates (there is no Egypt slot when you creat a new account in the PSN that`s why I picked Emirates) so the information of your credit card is not compatible with the place of origin you chose to create your account, so you`ll need to use a debit/credi card from an Emiraty bank

So Ive got the idea of making paypal account, although paypal also is not authorized to work for Egyptians, but I figured out that we can creat an account however, and I figured this one out after days of trying and fighting with apaypal customer service, that I can not link any of my Egyptian origin debit/credit cards.

So the only way I get any credit into my paypal is through someone outside my pathetic country to transfer cash into my paypal account, then I can use this credit ONLY to purchase online, hence I can not transfer any of it into my debit/credit cards, cause as I said paypal dont give a fu.. I mean a finfoots about Egyptians.

Or the other solution is to buy these redeem code cards associated with Eimraty users, but since they are not sold here in Egypt so I`ll have to wait for someone I know to get me any if they are travelling there any time soon.

I was about to buy a consul myself in the coming weeks but after this, fuchsine Sony tbh.

That really sucks, Dev! Was going to suggest PayPal too.

Only thing that I could suggest, is, maybe try creating a US account and buying $5-50 PSN vouchers from ebay etc.. I have both UK (main) and US accounts, and anything I download through the US account works on the UK account and vice versa, as long as you set your accounts on the PS4 as "primary console".

if you do get PSN try to get the cheapest cards. As it might not work or worse it could use the code then say your country isn't authorized for the service and keep your money and redeem the code.

happened to a cousin of mine when I got him a Xbox live card in the US and gave it to him in Colombia. Had to call MS when I got back from Colombia 3 weeks later to bitch about it and have them refund me. That and the fact I got 3 red rings of death. I am never buying any MS product again. My job thankfully lets me pick my own computer and I get macs
