I'm shocked by the comments I'm reading, this is a huge mistake by the Inter management. He should of been let go, why are we keeping him for another season. Don't get me wrong I'm grateful for what he has done but he's not the same player he was 2 seasons ago. He's 34 years old and it time to put old yeller 2 sleep. Its ludicrous, I thought next season we will suppose 2 rebuild with fresh young faces not players like Samuel that has sadly past it.
and he wont bitch if he's on the bench as a beckup... and we'll need some experience on there...

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFSquad depth is always needed. At Wally's age he won't be starting every game anyways. Nor will Lucio. In fact, I'd prefer it if we could somehow sell Lucio if the offer was good enough. His blunders are becoming more and more common.

“Something that I could be proud of but I miss certain battles with my teammates.”
With Lucio, you both were the stronghold of that defense that won the treble. But tell us the truth, when you saw him with the ball between his feet, did you feel like pulling your hair out just like the fans?
Laughs. “But at the end, he did lost too many balls. After that mistake in Parma, he was really down but three days after he responded like a champion by playing a great derby. For his technical skills and characters, someone like him would be hard to replace.”

“Andrea has a tremendous value and none of us has ever questioned it. We could be marvelous together.”

“He can make a difference. I saw him in Genoa and before that in Boca where many big clubs wanted him but he preferred to stay.”

About the strikers, how do you explain the flop that is Forlan?
“When Diego came back from injury, he could not find the rhythm with the team. But his value cannot be in question and we would ask him to stay but at the end, it will be him to decide.”
What comes to mind when you hear the words “Europa League”?
“It would be useless to cry over the lack of the Champions League. Europa League is still worth a trophy then the winner will have a chance to play in the European Super Cup, the only title that we did not get in 2010.”
The preliminary round is on August 2 which will force you to have an early training camp like last year for Beijing.
“In 2009 we lost the Italian Super Cup early August to Lazio and then won the treble in May. We will start early to get the best start in the league.”
