Even if we win, we will only get 1st place if Tottenham doesnt win, which is highly unlikely since Twente has nothing to play for.

Its simply not worth risking our players because there is a minimal chance that Tottenham fucks up. Its a good chance to rest our players before the CWC and final serie a games before the break. Some of our players have played way more than they should because of all the injuries and could need a break.

I think after the Lazio game, the team will already be thinking about Abu Dhabi, this game is just a formality and we should try to avoid getting our players injured. Rafa has already said that he will use this game to rest key players and give returning players like Motta, Muntari and mainly Chivu a run out. I feel it will be another disappointing performance. The only motive for Werder might be the prize money and it's their best chance to record a win against us.

It is important to win this match and hope Twente would atleast stop tottenham from winning as it might avoid us from facing the likes of Barca, Madrid and Man Utd. But I hope to see santon and alibec start this match, the 1st to get some more match fitness and the other to show us his potential.
