4-3-1-2 is a very good formation.....i liked Figo's n deki's new positions very much... i mean the best position for the legend Figo is to play him freely under the strikers , he's so creative and this way he wouldn't be running back and forth when he was playing in the right winger .... especially in defense But guys Isn't still tempting to play 4-3-3 ...i mean i thought mancio wiould do that during the adorable roma super cup game..the first thing that came to mind is he will push him in place of figo or deki .....but thank god he didn't cz figo played such a game .

so 4-3-3 will make us play with

zanetti cordoba Samuel grosso

Viera Deki Cambiasso

Figo/Adriano Crespo Zlatan/Recoba....

or Maybe we would play with both 4-3-1-2 and 4-3-3..this season is long and we need creation and flexibility ....but please no 3-5-2 mancio Please...what you guys thins?

Well, 4-3-1-2 is basicaly 4-3-3 formation :p just one of it's variations. You have actually 3 variants of 4-3-3. You have 3 forwards up front who are placed tight, you have 2 forwards, and one placed in final third, and you have 1 striker up front, and 2 forwards play more on the wings.

If we're play 4-3-3, we'll play with one player in the final third, and that's just because of Figo.

"i mean the best position for the legend Figo is to play him freely under the strikers , he's so creative and this way he wouldn't be running back and forth when he was playing in the right winger .... "

That is the biggest advantage to me to play this way. This is si true, that you just have to see, how Figo played in the first and second half. He was playing decent in the first half, but what he was doing when we switched formation...

4-3-1-2 is a must, and we should be one of the best sides in Euorpe. And not only on paper.

I think Mancini only knows 442 despite he used 433 352 in practice match. The problem is we have only one really substitute MC.

This could be a nice formation IF we have only one striker available, only a box striker like Cruz or Crespo.

We can play so many formations now that its not funny. If Mancini can master the 4-4-2, 4-3-1-2 and the 4-3-3 we will be soooo unpredictable against teams like Milan, Bayern etc..

But as I said IFFFF mancio can.. doubt it though.

We can use many tactics now... But I doubt that Mancini will stop using that 4-4-2 formation. It can be good, we have great players for that now. We will rock this season!

Exactly what I tried to say many times.

We have a great team, a team can play with many different formations.

But yet, most people say that Mancini isn't good enough for Inter.

I said here before that Mancini is learing here, he learned alot.

Because of Mancini, each player can play atleast in 3 different roles.

I wonder how many teams in Europe have what Inter has.

Mancio played whole TIM cup with 4-3-1-2 so I expect we will play this formation, at least at the beginning of the season.

I believe that the 4-3-1-2 formation is the ideal formation that Mancio should start the season with. With this formation we will be able to stop Fiorentina from constently attacking us from the flanks and winning the midfield battle that will be essential for us.

Let's see if Mancio (finally) found his ideal formation.

Actually, this formation doesn't prove much cover on the wings.. But I agree that winning the midfield battle will be essential.. But it always is, isn't it?
Mancio should put Viera on Liverani cos he is the one who should lead Fiorentina's play.. Putting him out of the match is half of our victory..
Haha, we were actually very smart with selling Pizarro cos now we can't have the same problem :p
Matrix should be assigned to Toni and we almost neutralized them.. Then it will all depend on our strikers and their (in)capability to score..
The good thing about Fiorentina is that they, just like us, brought in a lot of new players and they will need time to gel just like us..
But they have completely new midfield (Blasi-Liverani-Gobbi) and most of the attack (Mutu-Santana) so we clearly have an advantage there..

Putting Zanetti and Stankovic on the right flank will nullify Pasqual and will minimize Jorgenson's threat and that's why I want Mancio to start with 4-3-1-2 formation. Fiorentina will not have Santana (out injured) so I think they will use their left flank more and by putting 2 to 3 people there we can cancel out this option.

Nevertheless, our players have to be on form on that day and with determination I think we will do well.

Is the flat-four midfield dead?

Mancini loves his 442, we know. His flat 4 midfield- a central midfield pairing surrounded with wingers on either flank.

Whenever we played with this midfield formation and won, it was because of brute force. Figo was consistently the best attacking contribution to the game, and that was solely because he is "Luis Freakin' Figo". Stankovic was terrible. Veron was debatable. Cambiasso worked hard defensively.

Isnt it obvious by now that the flat 4 in midfield only works when they can overrun the opposition? Whenever our midfield comes up against a quality setup, inevitably they break down. Cuchu throws his legs around and works hard, but the other midfielders are totally disconnected. Is it just me who has noticed this?

None of the other midfielders can get into the action, bar Freakin' Figo (if he's lucky and finds the ball at his feet).

If we really want to emerge as a quality side next season we will need to step up to the tough opposition. Its easy to beat Siena and Reggina, but we need to be able to hold our own in midfield versus the Barcelona's, Arsenal's and Milan's.

We cannot depend on set pieces and luck like the old Inter. But I am glad it looks like things are about to change.

1. Vieira
2. Ibrahimovic
3. Playing Figo in the hole

Finally looks like we are working on this crucial problem Inter has been facing in a long long time.

And I'm glad. Because Inter is pregnant, and she will give birth to...Victory.

Great players, bad attitude, bad coach tactics, no subs
all this equals a team in big important matches like Bayern and I just hope we aren't that bad in the derby
or even in any match from now on
