free loan, 15 mill obligation, +1 mill if he has 15 apps, +1 mill if we qualified for the Champions League (we didn't). 16 mill. So we're basically willing to lose money to get rid of him.

^ slightly different to what I remember. I thought it was most widely reported to be a 2m loan + 12m (or 14m, can't remember) obligation. Bringing the total cost to either 14 or 16m.

This entire saga reveals the true nature of our coach, transfer directors and president. Inter does not win from this at all, and in fact come out from this looking even more pathetic than we did during the Sneijder saga.

Is there really not someone there to tell these stupid sons of bitches, that this isn't football manager? That if you have a fucking limited budget that spending it all before the transfer window even opened is a fucking dumb idea? We got Shaq as a fuckig favour on a fucking bargain and we seriously just begged a team to take him at not even a profit, but a loss? Am I reading this correctly? We gave Branca and Moratti shit? They fucked up on Sneijder sure, but at least he had high wages that we desperately needed to get rid of, what's Ausilio and Thorir's excuse now? Mancini lost his boner for him? We're getting rid of a young perfectly capable player to replace him with an older capable player is going to cost us more money, and is not even an upgrade.. and to top it all off we're supposed to be fucking broke.

I'm a multiple time and current Most Pessimistic member, most of the time, I admit, I deliberately opt to look at the realistic, darker view of things instead of the positive side. But this bewilders me, immensely. How the living fuck do you people see this shit happen before your very eyes, yet still manage to convince yourselves that these men, who make such idiotic, irrational and illogical dealings aren't fucking idiots? How do some of you even go so far as to praise them? This isn't even a one time thing either, but a series of many..

How much money are we profiting from the whole purchase and sale of Shaqiri?

If you were actually trying to be realistic you would've figure out there's some decisive information you're missing on the matter, rendering you unable to really evaluate the situation in it's entirety. We can't evaluate Taider career path because of the same reason. It's like if Osvaldo was doing all his shit behind closed doors on not on the pitch, he's performing like a beast and then he's being shipped of to Boca - panic. I strongly believe there's more than meets the eye in the Shaqiri drama as it currently stands.

Ausilio made same stupid deals as Branca, but in the end people'll praise him "He did great with our budget", while saying "Fuck Branca"

Tuttosport - The Swiss have agreement with Schalke 04, but to close the deal need to wait for the sale of one of Draxler or Farfan.

Simply idiotic and unprof from Mancini. Players like Shaqiri are human beings, not machines to be played with this way.

Eric Thohir should ask Mancini "Why the hell did you sign him then in Jan by the argument that you'll be a pivotal figure in this project"

Its the club which suffers from such spoiled coaches.

The site Waz.de denies rumors that Shaqiri is closer to Schalke 04. According to German sources those around Xherdan Shaqiri would be more speculation and the Swiss would not be the successful candidate to replace Farfan (who on his Facebook page has denied his departure). The beginning of next week there could be more details, "writes Waz.

So there may actually be a reason as to why teams like Schalke, Bayern and Inter are rejecting him and why teams like Stoke are having a crack?

This is the problem we suffered.
For me, Mancini wants to show our management his power toward our transfer decisions. Our management did not listen to our coach fully, ignoring some the player he wants such as Melo, Yaya, kaya, imbula etc. However, it is coach's right to decide who is going to be used, who is not. I think it is just a way to show his influence to the team: if a there is a player I dont want, I wont use him, so for the rest of the transfer, bring the player I want.
I really dont think shaqiri is useless in any of manici's system nor he is not quality enough to be fitted in.

This is a problem with inter for a long time. Coach, management team and boss, they all have a word on the player purchase. And our coaches always have high pressure on the league position, euro performance etc, if our management dont have enough patient for them, they will be short sighted, spending big, sign mature players for whatever price etc. look at difference between van gaal and Sir Ferguson. A performance driven coach and a Long term Manager

Such a good mercato at begin and now...? With or without shaqiri, we need two wingers as we cannot rely on biabiany + we still need a striker but the situation with perisic, salah and jovetic is complicated....gonna be a long summer.
