I’ve held off on really making any comments about him because it’s tough to really see a goal keepers level sometimes with the way we play. A reminder that last year we even kept a lot of clean sheets with Handanovic.

However, today was the performance I was looking for to give him the stamp. This guy is fucking class. Better pure shot stopper than Onana, better mentally than Handanovic. His distribution is more than adequate.

Kudos to the management again on another stellar move. Funding our mercato while getting better in a position is why they’re the best in the business in my opinion.

Marotta's magic, just like he assembled Pirlo-Vidal-Pogba with a mere 10 M. It is insane how a competent director could keep improving the team after sellouts every year.

On Sommer: his shot stopping is impressive and convincing. Not only he prevents the ball from going in, he could handle the shots comfortably or he manages to direct the rebound so it bounces to the safe area. He is much better in this aspect than Onana who spilled the ball erratically.

Saying the defence help is a understatement, just look at Onana if one doubt what impact our and a far worse defence has on a GK. We have one of the best defence in the world, he kept 10 clean sheets largely because our defence doesn’t allow much to begin with.

But he has definitely exceeded expectations for sure.
