True but at the same time, Faraoni is solid defensively that will cover for Maicon when he bombs forward. He's also not the typical and sometimes awkward "fullback-turned-into-a-winger" type of player either. I'd give him 45 minutes to see how he does in the 1st half. Make adjustments (and we know CR will) as the game dictates.

Don't expect 3 points then. Our attackers are brutally isolated with 3 DM's and the only way we'll get a goal is through a FK or corner. My ideal squad is:

Subs: Yuto, Pazzo and Cou/Obi if needed. Milan plays with a 4-3-1-2 usually so attacking down the wing and on the counter is huge.

Cambiasso right in front of defense, Motta and Alvarez (&co.) as CM, Sneijder as a left midfielder but cutting in the center most of the time. Forlan as an AM or Second Striker, Pazzo as Center Attacker. Not sure about Poli and Deki, but they were the only ones left in that position. We could even move Zanetti to midfield later on and put Naga as a left back.
As in when Maicon attacks from the right, Cambiasso covers for him, or even Motta. We can count on Sneijder from the left/center, and hope Forlan gives us a great game.
Cou to come in the 2nd half (or anytime CR sees is reasonable), along with Zarate if we really struggle to create anything.

Lot of options tbh, but quality isn't there...

From Portugal, these are the most interesting players for a club like Inter:
Rinaudo(DMF), Garay(CB), Insua(LB), Hulk(RW), James(AMF/Winger), Alvaro(LB) and Rui Patrício(GK).

Rinaudo-Very good at pressing and tackling. Very energetic. I hope you guys don't sign him, he is really good and very important for our team. Has been injured.
Garay-Best CB in the league IMO, along with Onyewu. Much better than Luisao.
Insua-17 games, 4 goals, 5 assists. And he is a left back.
Hulk-Strong, fast, good shooter and dribbler. A bit predictable, he always runs to the middle and shoots.
James-A genius.
Alvaro-Fast, good defender, better attacker.
Rui Patrício-After years and years of mistakes, he is finally becoming a world class keeper. Ready to go to a more competitive league.

Since AC Milan will most likely play 4-3-1-2 Abbiati ; Abate-Nesta-Thiago Silva-Zambrotta ; Nocerino-Acquilani-Seedorf(dont know about this) ; KPB - Nose-Pato then we playing 4-3-1-2 would be bad idea because to be honest they have better players in most position...i would go with something wider. 4-4-2 would be good, but Wesley is out of place and if we want to win we need him at his best, so this really leave us with 4-2-3-1. I'd go with:

so what are some realistic moves that we can see in the next windows that would really help the team.
it would seem that a lot of our action in this window and the next are dependent on the sale of sneijder. i personally think fergie has it in the bag and its a done deal, but i also thought that was the case over summer. if he is sold in winter i dont expect to see a direct replacement in the same window, waiting until summer for lucas would be our goal. i personally would prefer pastore... but thats just unrealistic.

other transfers i see are chivu and muntari out. which is good, hopefully we can get something in return and it also frees up wages! and zarate it seems has failed, but i havent written him off yet.. maybe milito but i just dont see it happening cuz he is our prince.

jaun looks close and thats good considering johnathan has been nowhere.i really like montolivo, i think he is just what we need-talent in the midfield. i would also like farfan, plus he and montolivo could be CHEAP and be first team material.
