i really hipe lucas dosn't come, 30+mil for a kid that had never performed against anything other than a brazilan league defence in a time of FFP is going to cause far more damage than it fixes

people say we cant afford top players like jovetic and hummels but we are linked to players like his, ridiculous

That's my ideal squad for next season, yes. But I never said I would pay 30+ for Lucas. For 15 mill, then yes. Maybe even 20 mill.

- Vertonghen: Can also play left. Still not 100% convinced by Ranocchia, but wouldn't mind either if he starts. Sure thing is we need fresh legs at CB.
- Nagatomo: For Serie A standard he's acceptable. Knows about the league.

- Cambiasso: I think he'll be fine again with some fresh blood around him.
- Isla OR Kuba: Isla is a fuori-classe allrounder, a must-have/try! Kuba to me is underrated and under-appreciated (known for his infamous miss in front of empty goal). Pretty sure he'll leave BVB. Hard worker, runner, plays defense, can play crosses, has a thunderous right shot. Overall a valuable sacrificing team player. I'd only take him if Isla isn't affordable.
- Dzagoev OR Jovetic: Both great prospects and good enough to replace (at least the current) Sneijder. Jovetic is more of SS which only makes things better for our front striker. Dzagoev had career high 12 assists last season. I'd take the one who'd cost less.

- Milito/Pazzini (front striker issue): Tough one...to be continued tbfh.

If Il Muro stays, he will partner one of those two listed here. If Alvarez isn't able to lead the game as a Trequarista, put him out, get Poli in the middle of Cambi and Guarin and switch Coutinho to the Trequarista position. System change to 4-3-1-2 with Farfan as the second striker. :work:

First of all 4-3-3 sucks, only Barcelona make it work. Secondly Vertoghen does not suck and third of all you will never win with that lineup you have, no offence.

We cant bring in a million players and expect to start winning. We need to build on what we have. Even though we arent doing well, we do have some good experienced players that have a tiny bit more to give. As the years go on we can get rid of a couple older players at a time while giving the youngsters time to enter the squad.

I know Hulk is a little bit of a stretch but if hes our one big signing we might be able to swing it. Sakho is one for the future but he is very strong and i feel has more potential to be a defensive leader while rano is more of the follower. And who better to learn from than samuel or lucio even if they are lacking this year. I think alot of it is down to our positioning and overall lack of organization and direction. Isla is fire, enough said. More than able to make an almost immediate impact on our squad. He can run for years and his style of play wont have us missing Maicon for very long.

Alvarez and coutinho are essential to our future and should start getting more games consistently. Coutinho is an excellent talent and he can be our star player in a couple years, all he needs to do is hit the gym and start eating his vegetables. Alvarez IS slow but you dont need speed when you have his class. Central midfield is ideal for him as he is tall and excellent at hold up play. Milito needs to leave soon but as for right now we arent looking likely to feature in the champions league so he is a great option for one more year.

Y 4-3-3 sucks, you do realize that 4-2-3-1 is just a 4-3-3 version..

Secondly we would win alot with that formation as it is MUCH better than our current one.

Third Vertoghen sucks.

If we cant get Ogbonna than go for Benatia, Vertoghen should not be an option if we want to win anything..
