Yuto was never good last season too. He is an average player who would do well as backup and a rotation player. Considering that JZ has to play every match, I hope he is LB with Yuto as a backup.

Don't kid yourselves. Yuto is a good squad player but nowhere close to a world class LB yet; and he hasn't even shown that. In all of the last 9 months, how many times has he put in good crosses or managed to link up with the left midfielder ahead of him.
I love the energy he brings and how he gets forward at every chance but the end product is sorely lacking. In fact his best displays have been when played on right side but we have enough players for that.

For a 4312, he should be our starting LB, but for 4231 I believe Zanetti should be the LB.

3/13 MOM in the league and 1/1 MOM in the CL game he played......not bad at all for a so called squad player who just joined a new team. In fact id say pretty damn good! Zanetti is hardly a threat going frward himself, in fact, id say yuto has an edge over him just due to his speed.

Yuto isn't the Yuto we know from last year. He doesn't even look fired-up for any game.

To be fair, no one on the squad has really looked all that fired up so far. Sneijder has shown some fire but that's probably because he's pissed off at the useless players that surround him. Honestly, I find it hard judge players like Nagatomo and Jonathan at this point. Our midfield is incapable of helping the fullbacks when they push up the field and our forwards have been god-awful, also offering very little help. The best fullback in the world would have problems looking good during these tough moments.

He has put up enough work to play Gasperini's wing back roles, I like the effort he puts in running up and down the flank.

However, he needs to work on his crosses, haven't seen many good crosses from him. We are really in dire needs for good crossers in this team for Pazzo to score. Ever since Maicon was missing from the first team, Pazzo has barely scored any goals. Of course, Milito is also at fault for taking up his time in first team.

Yuto was probably our best player in the second half last year. His crosses arent bad, concidering 90% of his games he played on the left, while he is right footed. Sure he can use his left as well, but not as good as his right. Besides, most of our attack go trought the right where Maicon is, and Maicons job is to cross, Yuto is to give energy, both in attack and defense...

Not saying he is world class or something, but he is definitely good player, who is only 24, and can be great in near future...

He never crosses, he runs down the flank=>stops=>turns around=> passes to nearby player.

He has slotted in the team very well and so far this season he's been playing in an alien role LM,RM, RWB what not. Not every full back is Maicon. This guy runs and fits into our team, liked by the group and also puts in good defensive performances. Plus he is probably the quickest defender we have and has been defending very well ever since he has joined us. He has the ability to dribble which is rare in our team and has a decent shot on him too and can play in one or 2 defensive roles, knows when to get forward.

He's still young for a defender and growing and here we are being told that we are kidding ourselves that he's good. We are being told that all he can do is dribble to the flank, stops and passes the ball. Nah, I'll take realism and everything, I wont take bullshit, which this is very honestly.

yuto is awesome. becoming an essential player in inter 1st team because of his work rate and skill set. ya he may not be the best crosser or even good at them but it really isnt part of his game. he doesnt a great job of getting down the flank period.
