Ok but jet one the best RW is maicon tal, strong and when he is going on attack we have jv to cover for him...so who is going to cover for naga? And btw he is the exact opoiste of maicon short, slim? I just mean we have to take this in consideration when forming a tactic. But thats leo job so...

if Kharja can cover for Maicon, then Il Capitano can cover the left..
putting Cuchu in the left the last game probably a try out .. if cuchu must cover for him

I was just thinking that against Bayern Yuto could be of great help to us as a winger. Since Chivu and Zanetti can play LB. Eto'o will probably have to go central, now that Milito is injured. Leo tried Pandev there to no avail. If Leo decides he wants to break out the old 4-2-3-1 Nagatomo could give us an extra option. He would definitely help defensively against Lahm as well. It would also allow us to sit Pandev since Coutinho can play on the wing as well. We probably won't see this but I think it's something worth considering.

That is a very good idea! I'm also for the defence first idea against Bayern. They have Robben and we must contain him. Double team him with Zanetti and Naga. Naga can also help the attack with his tireless running.

BENVENUTO AUWl Campione Del Mondo! :p

still not sure what that means... but looks fun lol
my first AUW, omg! :]
anyways, I guess the boy will provide some attacking alternative, something that was lacking since Maxwell's best years.

His agent claims Inter has already paid for him and will keep him 100%. The whole "loan" business was just for burocratic reasons.

OMFG the whole stadium went crazy last Sunday when Nagatomo entered the pitch:palm: He hadn't played a single second for us he was already the mascot, incredible! My buddy and I couldn't stop laughing, not at him, but because it's so unusual that we (tifosi) cheer so loud for someone we didn't know existed some time ago!

And at the Inter Store in Via Mercato, there were dozens of Japanese wanting to buy a Nagatomo jersey and his name was sold out!!!

Hi! I'm from Japan.
I'm really proud to be here as a fan of a "Japanese" player!!
BTW, everyone in this thread is focusing on yuto's offense, but actually he's pretty popular with his defense (especially one-to-one defense) in Japan.

Well, nice to see you guys anyways!

Welcome Japanese fan!

We focus on his offence because in his playing time on Sunday, he shined by running forward (we actually had a goal against us the second after he entered) but I'm sure that if he is allowed to play longer, we will also see what he's got in the denfensive side of the field

one differance between yuto and maicon are, is that yuto doesnt need players to cover him as much as maicon, after an attack nagatomo will sprint back to his position in defence, he has a very high work rate, i am deff looking forward to seeing more of him

My japanese buddy: I also agree he is a good defender, but despite being his fan, I am still not sure how capable he is to stop the toppest winger/forward in the world.....
Looking forward to see him counterwork with Krasic (speedy), ibra (tall), messi (dribble) or drogba (strong) etc..... to judge whether he is a 'good' or 'top' defender

I was thinking the same idea with Nagatomo, but about other wide player, I would rather have Pandev (at least starting) in the first half (I don't think Leo has used him as a winger, we've been playing 4-3-1-2 most of the time?). You need work rate in those games and Coutinho has shown many times he can barely last the first 45 minutes at high pace (if Cou were to play in CL, I'd say as a second half 50-60th minute sub atm).

Hello:) Yes, you are right. He had only played 15mins or so on inter, and I'm also still not sure how much he can do against those top players you listed. But actually he did match up with Messi at the friendly match against Argentina we had last year fall, and he was pretty successful stopping Messi. Yet, it is true that he just joined inter like a week ago, and needs to see how he can do against Ibra and all other world top players. :p GO~ YUTO~ :)

I watched the full Japan -Argentina match in last year. Honestly I do not think Messi paid 100% energy and pressure on nippon's defence, all due to this is only a friendly match. So go and see inter vs barca in CL (if inter are unfortune enough......)
