Players don't get paid when they play for national team. They only get money from their contracts which they have with clubs.

Anyway..regarding Zlatan, he is the perfect striker for any sytem that plays with 2 strikers. I don't think that Mancini will now go for 4-3-3 or any other system. If he goes for 4-3-3, Figo will most probably play on the right and Zlatan more or less get a "Ronaldinho-role" he might even be able to play.
This could also lead to Deki playing as offensive midfield in a role that suits him definetly better and Vieira and Cambiasso as defensive midfields.

But again, I doubt it as Zlatan is the classic support striker.

4-3-3 is good tactics, of cource not with 3 strikers. Portugal plays this tactics, Italy used to play with 4 strikers on EURO 2008, and also against Germany:
