Napoli - Inter (8 Mar 15) [2-2]

I just have a feeling we'll get a good result here idk why. I think we have nothing to fear as we're underdogs and the way we've been playing lately we will hurt them offensively. Our defense and midfield will need to keep them from our scoring us though.

Since we cant have 3 consecutive wins, it's good that we cleared our record in Fio game, now it will be two easy win against Napoli and Wolfburg.

Give minutes to Donkor, Puscas and Bonazzoli too.

Bear in mind with this haven't won since 97 record that Napoli were in B for some time during this run

Not expecting too much from this game.
But with Shaqiri, Icardi and Guarin in good form, we might just surprise them with a goal or two. Then somehow conceding less than them, which I admit is hard to ask for our defending.

We need to go into this game with belief. Take heart from the fact we basically drew with them in the cup, if not for an individual fuckup. Really think Puscas should start over Podolski, if he had had the same chances as Poldi he would have done more with them. Podolski just comes across as lazy and pretty talentless, quite frankly he is something of a myth of a footballer. Accept one bad transfer out of 3 and just send him back to Arsenal. Come next season he will be back at Koln or FC fucking Leipzig!

anyone should start before podolski... why we got him is mystery. I hope he leaves soon.

i thought to win against Fiorentina and a lose against Napoli. We will see two defeats xD

We're already bad enough in games against Napoli, putting out 10 men would be the icing on the cake.

We all know that this is not the game that will decide our season. This is a game where anything we can get will only be a bonus.

What do we want from our remaining games in Serie A? IMO we want to continue the improvement in our teamwork, get the players to better understand and implement Mancini's ideas, and most importantly, give a good idea to Mancini about what reinforcements he needs this summer. If we achieve that, the results don't really matter. Qualifying for the EL next season can be a double edged sword, so I am ok eitherways.

I am hopefull. I have seen slow and gradual improvement in our teamwork since Mancini's arrival. The players are playing as a team again, there is purpose in our play. Its a very small thing, but also very significant considering our last few years.

I liked what Mancini achieved from the last transfer window. Shaqiri & Brozovic are good, young improvements to our first team. Santon is a nice to have, specially because he is club trained. Podolski is a flop, but he was a low cost punt anyways. Hopefully we will have similar success in the summer, which could make our squad ready to challenge for a top 3 spot. Specially if we are not playing every other Thursday, we may have a decent chance next season to qualify for the CL.

The only thing that matters this season in terms of results is the EL, and the unlikely chance of a backdoor entry into the CL. I don't think we are ready to beat the likes of Wolfsburg & Co to win it all, but hey, we have a shot.

So bring on Napoli, lets give them our best. But lets also keep our eyes firmly on the prize - the EL tie is clearly the key one. I would have no problems if Mancio rests a couple of our players this weekend...

The last time we won here we weren't even some of our current team's players WEREN'T EVEN BORN YET (let alone guney). I really don't see why we can't have the mentality of at least being able to challenge Napoli. I want this win.

If we had won against Fiorentina (like we should have because Fiorentina hadn't won at the Meazza in 15 years) then I would be more confident for this match. A low-scoring draw like a 0-0 or 1-1 wouldn't surprise me but I'm not hopeful of a win.

I think of the worst scenario... and expect to get good results wth this match.

I think we can get a result, I still think we lost against Fiorentina because we were wasteful rather than because we're terrible like most people here think.
