Just like we found Murillo for €8m.

There are always better options in this world, don`t worry. I just hope the judgement on Murillo is correct. He needs to play to further develop, eating bench here surely won`t help any party.

Names leaked are Issa Diop / Presnel Kimpembe..

For me he needs playing time less than an Issa Diop or Presnel Kimpembe. Kids like that will stagnate if they're not given decent playing time. That's why Andreolli was a perfect back up he was already done developing

Plus we won't get Issa Diop or Presnel Kimpembe for 8m€ or even 15m€. That's my problem with selling Murillo. Of course if he's pushing the move to get minutes, I understand the sale but not the price if it's max 15m€. We can't get replacement for him with that money.

Selling Murillo and putting 1000% on a CB no one knew 2 months ago is a huge gamble. To me Murillo was beastily when he came. Then turned to shit. Rather let him go for free or 2 million then sell him now let him compete for his spot.

You could say the same thing when Murillo first came to Inter. No one knew him and we put faith in him. Of course, that's not entirely true since some people did know him but I'd bet more people are aware of Skriniar than they were of Murillo (at least up until the Confederations Cup).

Yeah but now we have Murillo and know his quality. Next gamble might not become what Murillo became.

They better give us Cancelo!

According to Calciomercato.com, Walter Sabatini today met the lawyer Rocco Dozzini, the Italian agent who looks after the interests of Medel and Murillo. The two have talked about a possible transfer of the Colombian defender to Valencia. The Nerazzurri want €15m, Valencia have offered €11m plus bonuses: the deal have a good chance of going to success.

Valencia have offered a contract of €2m per season for five years for Murillo.

Potential sale of 13mil for him which imo is pointless. 13mil in this market is jack shit and we should be focusing on selling the likes of Rano and Medel before Murillo.

Yeah, Murillo doesn't have big salary so he's not burden for us at all. Only thing is he wants more minutes so probably wants to move but why not try to get them here at Inter? It's not like Skriniar has a fixed starting spot. :D

Exactly, it's fucked up that we only want 15m for him.

Maybe he's cheap because he wants out? Not outside the realm of possibility that he wants regular starts rather than fighting for his spot

He's not dumb, he's seen Skriniar.

With World cup next year that could be a valid point, as he doesn't have secured his spot as a starter for Colombia

Well that's a clear case then indeed. But less than 15m€ is a big disappointment. 25-year-old CB, who probably walks to Valencia starting XI. We should really try to get some kind of deal around Cancelo or something if they are sort of money. IMO it's stupid to sell to club which cannot pay more and just accept that. If Valencia is the level Murillo can go to, we should try to grab some of their talent in return (+cash of course).

Valencia reach Murillo agreement - report
By Football Espana staff

Valencia have overcome their impasse with Inter in the negotiations for Jeison Murillo and now look set to sign the defender, say reports in Spain.

According to Superdeporte, Los Che raised their bid for the Colombian for €13m plus bonuses after their initial €10m bid was rejected, with Inter asking initially for €15m.

The report continues the 25-year-old has turned down approaches from Everton and Tottenham Hotspur as he has already given his word to officials at the Mestalla and is expected to sign a five-year deal at the club.

The Colombia international spent four seasons in Spain across stints with Cadiz, Las Palmas and Granada before moved to the Milanese giants in 2015.

Despite featuring 68 times for the Nerazzurri across two seasons, his future looks uncertain following the arrival of Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar from Sampdoria.

Valencia are searching for defensive signings with Aymen Abdennour, Joao Cancelo, Ruben Vezo and Ezequiel Garay all linked with moves away from the club.

13m is the new 6m. We'll end up regretting this if we sell him for that amount.

I have one question, how exactly the salary has its effect on the books when we sell somebody. For instance Murillo - he signed 4 years contract ( 2 years ago), worth 8 mln and his wage is 1,3 mln per season. This means 2 mln per year loss and if we add the salary will be - 3,3 mln per year. Let's say that we sell him for 13 mln. In first scenario (without the wage), we have 2 years remaining, 2 mln per year = 4 mln total loss, which means profit - 13-4=9mln. Otherwise we have 3,3x2=6,6 mln loss, so profit is - 13-6,6=6,4mln.
Which one is the correct one? Or they are both wrong?
