Everything is going according to plan. Inter are planning to close negotiation for Christian Eriksen and to have him coming to Italy this week before Inter-Cagliari on Sunday. The player’s agent, Martin Schoots, has been in London for almost two days now, trying to close and finalize everything.
Inter’s latest offer of €15M plus bonuses to reach €18M is not enough however. Daniel Levy is holding his player very tightly and is not going anywhere lower than €20M. The gap is too minimal which Inter could add on more bonuses without raising the fixed offer of €15M.
On Tuesday evening, there was new phone contact between Inter management and the player’s entourage to whom Inter have reiterated the desire to close quickly this week. Everyone has been reassured that the deal is not under question nor does it have any risk. There are no hitches on the horizon as this is just normal negotiation between Levy and Marotta.
