I haven't seen much of Lucas except for youtube and a match against Mexico sub 21 or 23. He's very good with good technique and very fast, but like Zarate he dribbles too much he needs to learn to pass it quicker. Also he doesn't look very strong, in some videos he's barely touched and starts to lose balance. If mexican sub 23 defenders could control him without too much trouble I can't imagine what his chances will be against experienced and stronger Serie A defenders.

If we get him I don't see him as a starter yet, he'll need 1 or 2 years like Coutinho to get stronger and gain experience. For now Ricky, Cou and Palacio should start before him.

Sky continues to insist that agreement in principle has been reached between us and Sao Paulo. Not only that, the player is actively pushing to wear the Inter shirt. But now it is entirely up to Massimo Moratti to decide whether to make this huge investment.

With Lucas well find cheap alternative options to round out the rest of our mercato hoping to find discounts the last week. If Lucas comes here he will start to the poster who said he'd be behind Coutinho and Alvarez. Moratti wont make this economic sacrifice for a bench player. Lucas is the perfect fantasia on the right flank he's unmarkable in any kind of space. He will cause defenses to concentrate on him and open up the play for others inter desperately need this kind of player. Noone on our squad has his kind of technical ability, breakaway speed, and potential. He has the body to adapt to Italian football he has good upper body strength. Compare Lucas to when Coutinho came to Inter and Coutinho now Lucas is the more physical player. It will be very difficult for defenses to mark our attack. Strama promised him he'd be a main part of his project. It remains to be seen what formation Strama wants to go with.

I don't believe any of this shit until I see it on inter.it. I've always thought this deal was almost impossible with all the competiton and money needed. And why would Lucas suddenly want to join us? He always said he wanted to stay in Brazil untill the World Cup.

Don't want to be the pessimest here, just don't want to be disappointed when this finally ends.
