Jankulovski is totally not up to the standard. I thought he was 30, but no, 32! Even more horrible. He's injury-prone and not good enough for Milan where Antonini has taken his place in the starting lineup. Antonini who Milan fans consider simply not good enough for a starting lineup place.

There is no way Jankulovski would be an acceptable move. Unless Milan pay like 10m€ to Inter.

isn't it a joke? 2 years contract for a 32-year-old player, Jankulovski? He is going to be 33 in a few months. There is no reason to get him, unless Lazio wants him as a part of deal for Kolarov.

I am afraid that Mancini will end up like Seedorf in Milan

Then so be it. At Inter he wouldn't succeed anyway. We can't get rid of Mancini anyhow else than this because of his family wants to stay here for now. So the move to Milan is logical. I'm not so afraid of Milan at the moment that one Mancini could turn the tide anyway even if he got his old self back.

It seems Jose besides a midfielder to fill Vieiras spot, needs a backup for the left back position, just like I thought.

I hope we will do everything to get Kolarov now, although it is close to mission impossible.

It's good to hear that Inter didn't get Jankulovski, Mancini-Jankulovski swap deal is just as bad as Seedorf-Coco deal.

Well, you know how it is in the last day of mercato.

By the end of the window we can have Jankulovski 5 times in the team, and then 5 times reject him.

Got to love the mercato italian/Inter way ;)

Maybe I should have made a "Last day of the mercato" thread where I spam those latest rumors, since it seems I'm on fire today. Now those rumors go everywhere in different threads. Well perhaps better that way so there's room for discussion also.

I agree with this, that we might need a thread for these kinda days. Damn, I am moving from one thread to another and when I am back to the home page, all the other threads would already be updated with new ones.

Haha. Agreed with Cafe and Pravesh. We really should have a thread for the last day of each mercato. No matter how good and stable our squad is, we always end up with these nerve racking moments.

Right now it's only a roumor, not a transfer.

So if something is hilarious at the moment its roumors.

No, serie A transfers and coach sackings are getting hilarious day by day, with or without Jankul-Mancini swap.

Every league, has it's own stories. No league is perfect.

EPL has their share as well, with Berbatov, Keane deals for example.

I think the transfers are actually pretty good in Serie A last season, and this year also.

The coaches and the often sackings in Italy are nothing new, and although in Spain they have their share of rush coach fires, I agree in Serie a it is pretty "special".

15 coaches sacked off the season and another 7 or 8 during the season is amazingly high even in serie A standard. It may even be a record in Serie A history and we still got half seasons to go. I may be able to convince others that Zampa handles every club now.

MU and tottenham have budgets to withstand Berba or Keane transfers. Many serie A clubs doesn't, not to mention many of their recent buy were tactically key players that was supposed to be the backbone of the team. Roma's scudetto dream went to trash with Baptista, Loria and Menez buy, Milan got Huntelaar, Juve's Melo, Almiron, Amauri, buy isn't doing them anything good, Zarate is doing more harm to Lazio, Genoa didn't successfully fill Millito + Motta gap with the cash given, etc.

Sure Samp and Bari were pleasant surprises but I wouldn't call them clubs representing serie A.

I don't know if it's record high, but it might be at the top of the list.

The rest I won't discuss, as I'm not interested in discussing it. You have your opinion I have mine and lets leave it like that.

for CB position Inter still can rely on the current defenders, a new defender is only needed for season 2011/2012

And that's why I think we need a new young CB now. When we really need him at the start of the 2011/2012 season, we have him adapted to our squad and our playing style. At that time, Lucio and Samuel are 33 and Chivu is turning 31 soon. So IMO we need someone fresh but adapted defender to be our starter at that time. Lucio and Samuel are getting slower and Chivu is always injured.

Nesta is 34, and is still doing ok.

What is this scare of age? We are not in any desperation for anything.

Young is good, and players need some time to adapt, I got that.

But I fail to see how we will need a young starter when Lucio and Samuel are 33, and Cristian 31? What if they all will play as good as they are this year, and for a deffender it's not hard to imagine. Will we need a young starter also ? And I emphasise the word "starter".

Sorry, but I just can't see where this fear is coming from.

I think we will get a deffener when the time is right, not when Samuel or Lucio are 33, or 37, or 31.
