Thank you Barca for taking away Fab. He has been an Arsenal player and they have a tendency to be a shadow of themselves away from Arsenal.

De Rossi? Hmm - NO THANKS!

I hate his guts.. He hates ours, why would he ever join Iner? I bet he will rather join Bbilan, or even better JuBe, but no Inter.. No doubt he is great player and may fit our system well, but no way we will be signing him, ever...

Henry, helped lift the CL trophy when he was past his prime...Hleb, was an alternative to Arshavin when Zenit played games in the transfer talks...He remains Barca property but surely missed the mark (Personally, I liked him while he was here)...Overmars, past his prime in his transfer...Petite, past his prime...Van Bronckhorst remains a loved player at Barca...Sylvinho came way past his prime and had a stopover in Celta Vigo for a few seasons before ending up at Barca - but he too remains revered by the blaugrana faithful.

Cesc, on the other hand, is a Barca product...And he happens to be 23, hardly in his prime let alone past it...I'd take a bet that Cesc won't be a 'shadow' of himself at Barca, any day of the week

Montolivo, Hamsik, Inler.... I hope we get one of those. Bright future, already established in Serie A.

No expensive experiments for such an integral position. Experiments are only worth it in attack usually

I don't know why, but for some reason I've always seen De Rossi as a poor man's Fabregas...I know these two don't even compare in terms of roles, let alone quality, but I don't know why I always had that view :| I wouldn't mind getting De Rossi, but in truth he despises us, and I doubt he'd want to wear our shirt....

imo we need to make a big mf buy..

I agree, but it all depends on how the club wants to move forward. If the club wants to maintain the high standards we've come to enjoy this year, I think the club should make a big name, quality signing. If we want to truly challenge for the CL next year, we must take the team to the next level and sign world-class players, not local league players that have potential and should develop whithin some years...we need someone proven...

However, if the club wants to get ready for the upcoming generation change which we will see in a few years, then a player such as Montolivo and Hamsik wouldn't be bad, as these players are young, and would be brought for the long term.

It all depends on the direction the club wants to take.

I agree. While I do think Veloso would be a good signing, I would like more to sign players within the league, as they are already accustomed to the environment, and know what to expect. They also would not need much time to integrate into the team. For this reason, I'd prefer Inler over Toure for example. But this is only if the club wants to establish talent for future years.

if you're neraz
Sorry but I have to disagree with everybody, I really like De Rossi, and I'd be really happy if we got him. I think the main reason is because he's a key player to Italy's national team so I'm a bit biased when it comes to that. Unless you're a total douche like Totti, then you can suck it.

But I like the way you guys are thinking, Inler, Montolivo, Hamsik, I like all those guys, they're really good.

Also, if we get Gerrard, that would be the shitttttttt, I don't give a rat's ass how badly he played this year, the only good players that play for Liverpool are him and Torres and Gerrard is amazing.

I think De Rossi is an immense player, and if there is a possibility of us signing him, I saw we do so without the blink of an eye. He's a great box to box player, who suits our midfield. But realistically speaking, this transfer looks impossible; he's a Roman through and through, so no way he'll join us.

Yep

And I'll kill De Rossi before he put his signature on paper too.

DDR is a great player but it's more likely a monkey falls from the sky and starts pole dancing for me, than he ever signs for Inter. I would love a player with his characteristics though... as would every club I suppose.

Love his characteristic how? Of his whining? Of his dirty tackles?

He's a typical Roman cunt, like that Rosi bastard who played for Siena.

I've read the De Rossi and Veloso are very comparable. Not sure exactly how true that is but we have been linked with him a lot. So instead of getting a "roman cunt" we could get a younger Portuguese version.

Another thing I was thinking about is the 2 in our 4-2-3-1 would be set for a long time. With Mariga (23) eventually taking over for Cambiasso. And Veloso (24) fighting with Motta and Stankovic.

apparently we are going after Modric if we win CL...that will bring us about 70 mil and we would use it on Modric,Kolarov and Cavani....and we would send muntari to tottenham, cause he was playing in portsmouth while redknapp was manager, and he wants him now in tottenham...so it would be a double win...we get a player, don't pay his full price and also get rid of unwanted player
http://www.index.hr/sport/clanak/inter-prvo-zeli-trofej-europskog-prvaka-pa-luku-modrica/492610.aspx

I follow Tottenham very well and Modric will not be leaving the year they get into CL. If they do terrible and don't qualify again next year then yes but not this summer.
