I don't know why, but for some reason I've always seen De Rossi as a poor man's Fabregas...I know these two don't even compare in terms of roles, let alone quality, but I don't know why I always had that view :| I wouldn't mind getting De Rossi, but in truth he despises us, and I doubt he'd want to wear our shirt....
imo we need to make a big mf buy..
I agree, but it all depends on how the club wants to move forward. If the club wants to maintain the high standards we've come to enjoy this year, I think the club should make a big name, quality signing. If we want to truly challenge for the CL next year, we must take the team to the next level and sign world-class players, not local league players that have potential and should develop whithin some years...we need someone proven...
However, if the club wants to get ready for the upcoming generation change which we will see in a few years, then a player such as Montolivo and Hamsik wouldn't be bad, as these players are young, and would be brought for the long term.
It all depends on the direction the club wants to take.
Montolivo, Hamsik, Inler.... I hope we get one of those. Bright future, already established in Serie A.
No expensive experiments for such an integral position. Experiments are only worth it in attack usually
I agree. While I do think Veloso would be a good signing, I would like more to sign players within the league, as they are already accustomed to the environment, and know what to expect. They also would not need much time to integrate into the team. For this reason, I'd prefer Inler over Toure for example. But this is only if the club wants to establish talent for future years.
