Basicly its like this. Inter wants ranocchia straightaway. That's inter's ideal scenario but genoa would like to keep ranocchia till june. So they are offering moretti on a 6 month loan deal instead.

Maradona is a crackhead, he failed to win WC`2010 because he didn't call up treble-winning legends Zanetti, Cambiasso & benched Milito! He also played Burdisso! What a moron!
Demichelis is not good enough for INTER, just play Chivu as a central defender until Ranocchia is coming.

If we are willing to spend some good €€ for a LB, Coentrão would be interesting as well if Criscito ain't that good.

I would go directly for Gareth Bale/Coentrao. Yes it will cost us, but we are defending CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE, we deserve a world class left-wing back! I remember that miserable Gresko and since selling Roberto Carlos we always struggled with that position. I expected us to sign Kolarov but Man City fucked up his price... Bale is truly incredible, he's even more impressive than Maicon [in his good form] - but on the left! :star: Criscito's price is too much for me.

My point is we don't need central defenders [we'll have Ranocchia] + Samuel, Lucio & Chivu + Cordoba ready.

Again: VARGAS IS NOT A DEFENDER. He's a winger, was awful in the back for months at Fiorentina until Prandelli switched him back to the midfield. I like him as a player, but he wouldn't solve the left back problem.

The words Vargas and defense shouldn't be in the same sentence. I was really impressed with Coentraro in the WC but I have no idea where and how he is playing now. His defensive work was as good as his offensive one.

Also, I was never impressed with Koralov. I saw him against Stoke over the weekend and he was the same player. Average defensively, average offensively with a good long pass/shot.

I know he's better as winger than LB but still wth. We need wingers too and he's a great one.

As for central deffender issue, I'm really angry at seing those names being linked with us. I hope it is just bullshit. If we won't take Ranocchia, I will only accept that Espanyol dude, as I've heard some good things about him, and if he is that tallented it's ok, seeing Samuel might not recover once he is back, and Lucio will not stay here forever + seeing how Matrix did this year + Cafe who is sgetting older every year. (Idealy Matrix would be out this year, Cafe the next year).

If this Espanyol guy can't be get, we shouldn't get anyone. Once Maicon is back, and seeing our whole midfield is scoming back, that means Javier can finaly go to left back and stay there for good. That means, we already have our guy - Chivu. I know it's a risk, but we can't buy a deffender now, who is shalf ass solution (he can't be better than Cordoba anyway), which we'll find more trouble in the summer.
