According to GdS, Inter want Emerson on loan with option to buy for 30m. If it's true, we can realise why we have decided to go for Emerson.

Yes, that would make more sense. And specifically with that option to buy. Not in any reality we would actually use that option, obviously.

Like you said earlier, Emerson for 15-20m€ would make sense, but not an euro over that.

Gosens, Telles, Tagliafico etc cost well over 20m€. And out of those, only Gosens plays as LWB?

Telles is available for roundabout 25m since his contract expires next year, IIRC. Seems like a much better option than spending the same amount on Palmieri.

Yeah, it's interesting if Inter isn't after him at all, since there's been zero reports about that. There were rumors quite long about Telles signing for PSG but then they re-signed Kurzawa. Bernat has contract till 2021 so I doubt they'll sign Telles now. I think there's really a play here to be made.

I don't think we're going to sign Emerson right now even if Chelsea accepted our loan proposal. We will look for the market first and then decide what's the best route for us. We might go for loan Emerson (if Chelsea accepts such thing) and save money for other positions/roles.

Agreed, of all the targets linked Emerson looks like the 'easiest' way to get a LWB, and it might just be a precaution so that if Chelsea/PSG do sign Telles, we're covered regardless.

Very much hoping to just wake up one day and it'll be done. Going from Biraghi-Candreva to Telles-Hakimi would be mind blowing.

I don't think Emerson was our first choice for LB, but he's easy to get. FL doesn't want him, he's an italian who fit well to 5-3-2 formation and he wants to come to Inter. Gosens is my dream, But does Atalanta need to sell him? no, they have the money to keep him. They are in CL QF and they will probably play in CL next season to. I don't think Gosens is for sale.

Telles? a bit overrated in my opinion. Tagliafico? huge overrated.

As long as can't get Alaba or some WC LB, Emerson is fine. Not great, but fine.

It's either TELLES or goes full attacking left by taking Kostic or younger and better technically than Telles, Alphonso Davies.

Emerson as a backup, I agree. As a starter, my personal preference either Alphonso Davies or Kostic.

I am against resigning Telles, hell fucking no.

He play for Liga NOS . I am against signing any player from that fucking league.

I prefer if Inter sign Emerson, Gosens, or Alaba.

I assume Conte ask Emerson, but Marotta want Alaba.

This is new management.In NBA they will absolutely sign him to prove how previous management was clueless.

That said,there is some huge hype about Telles like he had some massive seasons in top 5 leagues.He is playing in Portugal and if it was not him we will be talking about shit league and that his impact there means nothing and some will be even pointing out the case of J.Mario here (and he is not even playing for NT and will be 28 by the end of the year).

I don't have any problems with any of this but for sure hype about him is surreal.

Honestly I'm pretty sold on Gosens, the issue is that he will be sold above his market value because it's Atalanta.
