tbh, it seems like fine deal which has cons and prons.
When it comes for positives we get good striker which help us score goals. LuLa are having troubles with finishing their chances. Dzeko is not world class finisher, but he is still better than Lautaro & Lukaku in this aspect.
Dzeko seems to be perfect fit for Conte.
And the most important one - he is rarely injured. It's the main issue with Alexis that there is a high risk that in coming months we would once again end up without a proper striker on the bench.

The main issue with the transfer is that we lose very dynamic and creative player and this hole will be difficult to fill.

Seems that they are discussing right now in Inter's HQ about this Alexis-Dzeko swap, pretty easily it would be announced in a day or two.
Would worth it?
Only time knows...

Is this a temporary exchange for the remainder of the season or permanent?

Loan swap till the end of the season. The relationship between Dzeko and Fonseca is even worse than the one of Gasperini and Papu Gomez. Roma's new owner will probably bring a new coach in the summer so they're just trying to find a short term solution.

Lukaku and Dzeko would be monster attack in Seria A. Cuntaro needs to cool down on the bench.Bring it on!

Imagine poor Lukaku after yelling at Dzeko and flailing his arms.

Bring Dzeko for this year to get the scudetto. Alexis is injured all the time anyway, Lautaro is not scoring enough. Eriksen will replace Alexis. END THE DOMINANCE OF RUBENTUS THIS YEAR

INTER propose to Roma for covering salary difference by offering Pinamonti on loan as part of the package. I think this swap will gonna happen.

Di Marzio - Inter also want Eder.

So I guess the deal will be Alexis and Pinamonti on loan for Dzeko and then bring Eder back.

Lets just hope this morons dont give them Pinamonti like they gave Zaniolo.

We might need Dzeko more than need Sanchez, but as much as I’ve been critical to the latter it doesnt worth the gamble because in some games we would still need his creativity and movement. Ideally we take Dzeko and keep Sanchez but that wont happen at all.

So we don't utilize Pina ourselves, we don't want to sell him for good money, but we are going to loan him to another great club where he won't get any play time?

That is so freaking retarded.

I am very, very confused. How is sending Pinamonti to Roma anything but a massive favor, bordering on self-sabotage?

Sanchez earns 7 million, but because of the growth decree, we pay half = 3.5. His wages for the rest of the season would be half of that, 1.75.
Pinamonti earns 2.5. That's 1.25 for the rest of the season. 1.25 + 1.75 is 3 million.

Dzeko, meanwhile, earns 7.5 a year, with no growth decree.
That's 3.75 for the rest of the season No ifs, and or buts.

We save 3 million on wages, immediately offset by Dzeko's wages. Bottom line is we pay 0.75 million for Dzeko's services for 19 matches + Coppa, but lose two (!) attackers in the process, putting us at a numerical disadvantage.

Meanwhile, Roma, by doing this deal, are 0.75 million in the green on wages, plus they get two players!

Am I missing something, or is this outright stupidity? Roma are desperate to get rid, came to us with a proposal, and instead of standing firm and telling them to AT LEAST pay the wage difference, we're giftwrapping them two of our assets at a base loss.

I'm literally dumbfounded.

Marotta keeps surprsing me with his unbelievable stupidity. If Sanchez is a burden then why sign him permanently in the first place. If he is good why replace him with a dying forward? And why make a rival even stronger by loaning Pina to Roma for peanuts. If this is not madness from a lunatic ceo I don’t know what madness is.

Just gonna log out until February...

As long as this loser ceo is at Inter, expect the worst.

You don't rate Dzeko at all and that's the part you're missing.

Dude is a Champion,

- scored over 50 league goals for Wolfsburg and won a Bundesligue
- scored over 50 league goals for City and won EPL
- scored over 50 league goals for Roma and won nothing

- scored over 50 goals for Bosnia and played World Cup

Now compare that to 6 goals/40 games of Alexis in last two years plus Pinamonti's 0 appearances/0 goals this season.

Dzeko is heavily underrated and Alexis will be 33 next season with pace like main attribute.

I wish we can make this permanent somehow.

I'm all in favor of this move. Just the other day I was talking about how we need another partner for Lukaku than Lautaro or Sanchez as they are not scoring enough. I think Dzeko would be a good solution as we need a more clinical striker. Yes, Dzeko doesn't have the workrate of Lautaro and might not be able to create space as much as Lautaro, but if we need to create more space we can just play all three together.

Also sending Pinamonti the other way along with Sanchez would be great as can manage to not increase our salary expenditure. Pinamonti is not playing anyways so he might get a chance to play at Roma.

It'd be a good deal if we added Dzeko to our existing core, perhaps shipping over Pinamonti and Vecino in some loan swap deal.

Losing Sanchez is going to be a big blow.

Sanchez's commitment to his national team is the only positive thing Inter might achieve if the swap takes place.

Adding Pinamonti's and Vecino's salaries wouldn't make up the difference which adding Dzeko salary makes to our wage bill. That's why Sanchez is the counter part that goes another direction.
