Thats what I said, Sell Lautaro and get one of those players and get anyone else instead of dzeko from Sassuolo with one of those wack loan with obligation agreements over who knows how many years. Raspadori, Berardi, Scamacca any of those will do.

Even if we sell lautaro we wouldn't have the money for either or them.

Osimhen, Isak, Anyone young with pace and can take players on one on one. That literally should be the priority. We have lost a lot of pace up front and we lack someone who can create his own shot. Someone like Leao.

By the way i said it before, glad we never got vlahovic cause he wouldnt have added shit. Maybe better finishing than the to scrubs we got
I'm not overrating anyone. I'm just commenting if clubs rate David higher than Lautaro, they will buy David and not Lautaro from us.

Let’s hope Leonardo do us another favor and take Lautaro off our hand.

would like Dybala but I can't see him backstabbing Juve. He doesn't seem that type of guy. He's also doing well for them, I think he'll end up staying.

JUVENTUS PIT DYBALA AGAINST HIS AGENT WITH NEW CONTRACT OFFER

According to the latest reports, Juventus are ready to offer Paulo Dybala the original contract he agreed in October, but only if his agent gives up the commission.

The situation has been dragging on for months, as they had agreed a deal for a contract extension in October 2021 for €8m per season plus €2-3m in various performance-related bonuses.
The club then got cold feet, partly due to Dybala’s on-going injury problems and lack of consistent form on the field, instead proposing a lower wage package.
This irritated the player, who could be a free agent in July, as his current contract only runs to June 30.

Now Calciomercato.com claim that Juventus have made a new proposal to Dybala and his agent Jorge Antun.
They are prepared to stand by the original €8m plus bonuses salary, but only if Antun agrees to give up on a large chunk of the commission he would’ve made on that deal.
Juventus are effectively pitting Dybala against his own agent, hoping to rely on La Joya’s desire to remain in Turin with the Bianconeri.
When Juve had tried to sell him in previous years, he rejected offers from Tottenham Hotspur and others, wanting to stay with the Old Lady.
Let`s see how this goes :awyeah:

His agent will hold a meeting with Inter as well so this is probably a way to force Dybala to negotiate without him, a la Skriniar. Our potential or smokescreen offer will definitely push Juventus to a higher one.

Dybala just had his 5th injury of the season and we're still in February. He could only have Sanchez role at Inter but he wouldn't accept it and we can't afford spending so much on a squad player. I would stay away.

Paulo Dybala will miss Juventus’ clash against Villarreal tomorrow due to injury, the latest example in an extensive history of unluckiness in the Champions League for the Argentinian.

The former Palermo man joined the Bianconeri in the summer of 2015 and has appeared in all seven of their Champions League campaigns since then. Across those 52 matches, he has scored 18 goals and provided three assists, being consistently unlucky in decisive moments for the Turin side.

In the 2015/16 season, Dybala was decisive in the first leg of the Round of 16 against Bayern Munich, scoring once as they drew 2-2 at home. He was absent for the return leg after suffering an injury, and Juventus duly lost to their German opponents 4-2 in extra time.

The following season, the Argentinian forward was again key in the first leg of the quarter-finals, netting twice against Barcelona. He then failed to make a strong impact for the rest of the run to the finals, and he could do nothing as they lost against Real Madrid in Cardiff.

In the 17/18 campaign, Dybala was sent off in the first leg of the quarter-finals against Real Madrid after picking up two yellow cards, meaning he could only watch on in horror as the Spanish side secured a vital goal in the dying minutes of the match at the Santiago Bernabéu.

A year later, the former Palermo forward hardly featured in the two legs of the quarter-finals against Ajax due to an injury, only playing 60 minutes across both games.

In Maurizio Sarri’s one season in charge, Dybala could only play 13 minutes in the second leg of the Round of 16 clash against Lyon, having to come off due to a problem.

Finally, last season. In the first leg of the Round of 16 against Porto, Dybala was left on the bench, and he was unavailable in the second leg due to an injury.

His absence for the match against Villarreal is therefore only the latest incident in a long history of unlucky moments in the competition.
Maybe he`s cursed? :yao:

I don't know how reliable SPORT is but they report that we are interested in Depay.

Links to Jesus + Cash offer for Lautaro lmao. Just do it and spend the cash on Dybala or one of Scamacca or Raspadori.

Depending on how much cash it is I would accept that. I think that would make for a better partnership than Scamacca + Lautaro.

I kinda like Jesus but he has the same issue as Lautaro; he's not a proven goal scorer. Depay would be a nice rotational player. It's a shame he lost a lot of his pace the last couple of years. Both wouldn't be a upgrade over Lautaro IMO.

No to Jesus. While he is a more rounded player than Lautaro, he just isn't good enough. I would take him as a backup, or as one of our 4 forwards, but his wages won't allow that. I am sure he is on high numbers, which calls for him being a sure starter (just like Lautaro) and he isn't one for that.

Depay though, would be much better. Again a well rounded player, and he adds something to our team. He can feature as the main or 2nd striker.

It's good that we are seeing more names come up, some disappointing, some good. We at least get the feeling that the management realises our shortcomings in this department.

We need 4-5 strikers in this squad.

1. One of them has to be the default center forward who can finish well, and importantly, hold up play. That looks to be Scamacca for now.
2. Second has to be a creative one, with an eye for a goal. Ideally this is the player that the team looks to when things get difficult. Only one I see for this role is Dybala. Only concern there is fitness, but otherwise he would be perfect. If not creative, then good technique and pace are minimum needed. Someone like Jonathan David can work.
3./4. These can be backups to the above two, or more rounded but lesser specialist players. Jesus and Depay fit this. Even Correa and Dzeko would work. But the first 2 have to be better.
