I’m gonna just jump in and anti-Falcao law this shit to say I never really rated Insigne. He’s a decent player and I’ve been impressed with his instincts and skill at times, but I don’t think he’s incisive enough. I don’t see it working at inter at all; he needs to play out wide.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I rate Insigne and I wish he came a few years back, but this would be an odd trade.

Sure, Sanchez is old, injury prone, and on big wages, but he's the type of player you want to come on late in the game and create a new attacking threat. Insigne can't replace that and I feel like that would be something we'd miss at certain points of the season.

Why we probably are linked to Insigne is that Correa's price is not 25m. Lotito asks almost 40m€ at the moment.

I can think we leak this Insigne thing to put pressure on Lotito. He needs to sell to be able to buy players for Sarri who hasn't got anyone yet. Correa is the replaceable player there.

Correa is to Sarri what Politano was to Conte. A decent player who was useful for the previous coach but entirely useless for the next one.
