Inter could move for a young left-sided wingback like Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso even in the event that Ivan Perisic renews his contract, and then send him out on loan to gain experience.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are thinking about preparing for the future on the left side of the team.

The Nerazzurri have already signed Robin Gosens during the January transfer window to strengthen on the left at any rate, while they are waiting to see whether Perisic accepts a contract extension offer past the end of next month.

Should Perisic depart then a replacement will be sought, with young Italian prospects such as Cambiaso and Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi among the players who have been linked.

However, even in the event that Perisic stays on, the club could still target a player such as Cambiaso as the Croat’s long-term successor, and then send him out on loan.

I mean Genoa relegated and his contract expires in 2023. Still only 22 years old, perhaps it`s a good moment to buy him.

Every website I am reading has Bastoni being sold to the EPL for 60M

I hope Bremer is done and dusted because no De Vrij, no Bastoni, no Bremer it going to be a really bad time

Sadly we are not in a position to pay this much. I really like Perisic en think he was our best player past season. But we also decided to get Gosens on high wages and he will cost us 20 million in 2023. Having a wingback on the bench who costs us either 5/6 million a year on salaries or 3.5 million a year on salaries and 20 million on transfer fee is just too much giving our financial state.

Don't blame them. He extended his contract and named defender of the year in Serie A. They would be stupid to sell him for 30 to us, while they can get 50 from Spurs for example. Just hope he 'only wants us' and Don Bepe already locked this one.

Cairo promised Bremer to sell him for a decent fee if he renews. Dunno if Cairo fucks him over or if it was to make it possible to do loan+obligation to buy deal.

If we are forced to sell Bastoni and we are really so fucked financially, we'd be better off reinvesting in other areas instead of buying Bremer. We could renew De Vrij and switch to 4 at the back.

Gosens - De Vrij - Skriniar - Dumfries
Dimarco - Ranocchia - Vanheusden* - Darmian/DDA​
* or some other cheap reserve.

But I think Inzaghi would rather lose all his hair than change formations, so this is a moot point.
