Multiple reports in Italy, including Sportmediaset, claim Becao’s agency, Antoniu’s Assessoria Esportiva, posted a picture from Inter’s headquarters on Instagram on Friday but then removed the post.
It read: “Work never stops, even after the end of the January transfer window, we go forward, focused on future opportunities. We held talks with Atalanta and Inter looking towards the summer transfer window.”
Becao, 27, has a contract running through June 2024 at the Dacia Arena and is not Inter’s only target to replace Skriniar.
The Serie A giants have also targeted Atalanta’s Merih Demiral and Roma‘s Chris Smalling. The latter has a contract expiring this coming June at the Stadio Olimpico.
Becao joined Udinesein 2019 and has scored five goals in 115 appearances with the Bianconeri. Napoli have also been linked with the Brazilian defender.
