Don't have one.
Nacho + a younger defender (Chalobah, Djalo, Bella-Kotchap, etc.) would be a good way to replace Skriniar.
Yep, this is my thinking as well. Otherwise, if we have acerbi nacho as starting defenders next season, we could have problems during the whole course of the season given their age. We need someone younger like chalobah as well...

Here comes our Pavard.

Next comes our SMS aka Pereyra.
Actually I don't mind Pereyra, if his wage is reasonable. Maybe, Ceballos+Pereyra, and keeping Brozo will be the best decision, considering money spent/quality. And send Asllani on loan somewhere to get regular playing time.

Everything I've heard about Nacho pointing toward a good, reliable and professional CB, he's also eligible for Growth Decree. No reason to pass up on him.

Ceballos is also interesting, used to have huge potential but has had a lot of ups and downs in recent years. He's youngish, free and has the tools to be our Luis Alberto, maybe worth a try.

Wow if Nacho is our THE CB signing.

Tho I guess we need to give the management the benefit of the doubt after last summer (Acerbi, Mkhitaryan)

Should be investing in Schuurs for Skriniar replacement, not offering over the top wages for a 33 year old Nacho.

But I am calma. I know Suning are broke and when you expect absolutely nothing, you can't be burned.

According to Spanish sources, 33-year-old Nacho has already agree terms with Inter, which will be his first club after a lifetime at Real Madrid from their youth academy to the main squad.

It would be a deal until June 2026 with a salary aided by the ‘growth decree’ cutting tax on talent coming into Italy from abroad.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport insist he is only one of several options for the San Siro giants, who are also eyeing up Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich at €20m and Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
We, all know that it will be Nacho.

I don't mind either, but not in the terms we are reading. Specially after all the claims about reducing our age and wage bill.

The biggest red flag in this deal is contract length. You simply don't give a 3-year contract to a 33 year old. Period.
This. We keep playing with fire. Eventually we'll get burned. It doesn't take much for a player like Mkhitaryan, Acerbi, or Dzeko to fall off a cliff. We've actually seen it with how much Dzeko has declined in the past 24 months.

I'd be fine with like, 1 year + 1, or even 2+1, but 3 outright is just ridiculous

this is what i mean though - we're in control of our own fate, but we keep making bad decisions. Its not a Zhang thing either, this predates Zhang.

Of course it's indirectly a Zhang thing. This club has no revenue so it's exploring "low cost" and "safe" options.
