If he flops at Lazio, and then at Inter it will be difficult to sell him somewhere, because no decent club will be open to give money, while the small clubs will be drive away by his salary.
I didn't say that SMS or RDP are for free, but that they can be potentially available, and I prefer them than Lazio's flop.

and if he joined, i think he can compete for first team place to replace mkhi especially next season. he is dynamic, have good creativity, good vertical passing and good long shot like his goal vs napoli. he can be useful for our team as we really need a long term replacement for mkhi. frattesi looks more like replacement for barella.

perhaps sarri preferred the more tenacious gendouzi for sarri ball. from the little minutes kamada played, he does not look bad or out of depth. perhaps just not suited or yet to adapt to sarri tactics.

well, could be lazio loss, our gains!

Under 30 is a plus point..not a rule of thumb. Midfielders are not rare, we need real quality there to compete with others.

I mean, there are choices of Zielinski, Colpani, Thuram and we should go for a Lazio sub, hoping him to turn his career around? One must be bossing around to have a place in ours atm, not the other way round.

Okay we might need to pay but that's way better than downgrading.

how does signing kamada for free in 2024 a downgrading vs old mkhi, slow klassen, injured sensi and no play time agoume ?

or are you comparing it to new signing that cost 30 mil ++ like frattesi but still won’t play much or have impact in our team like this season?

even if you compare the players stats, kamada is not far from our midfielders stats so it is very premature for you to label kamada as potential flop / not useful in inter. most of you guys think our thuram will flop too but he proved otherwise. it’s not like the other option is signing bellingham and he bossed from day 1.

That shows why context makes stats misleading. Frattesi has to compete with one of the best midfieders in Europe. While Kamada versus Guendouzi or freaking Vecino. Yet he could not standout.

As I said in the other thread, panic signing is much worse than signing no-one. Football is not pokemon. Quality over quantity in the area we are already stacked. We should sign midfielder when he is really good, not coz he might eat minutes here and there.

Between Kamada and Zielinski in 2024, still you dont see who we should aim for? Only Falcao law should incline to the Japanese :D Don't even compare him to Mikhy please.

Btw FYI he will not be free. Lazio has 2+1 contract.

Kamada - Zielinski is too easy to pick up.
Kamada - Bonaventura (who will be also free agent) - I'd go for 35 years old Bona.
Kamada - Jorginho - this is more difficult as I'm not a big fan of today's Jorginho, but maybe I'd pick him up as Asllani can go further on the pitch.
Kamada - Rabiot (it seems he will be free agent as well) - Depends of the salary demand of Rabiot. Otherwise the French is better choice
Kamada - Castrovilli - here I'd take Kamada, only because Castro is a another Sensi.

And as @PHM1605 said, Kamada is not even a free agent:
"As announced, Daichi Kamada has signed a two-year contract with an option for a third with Lazio, understood to be worth around €4 million net per season plus add-ons, as well as a €5 million signing bonus"

there are several reports that mentioned that kamada contract is 1 year + 3 optional ex lazioli etc

in transfermakt also his lazio contract was listed up to 2024.

i am saying mkhi would be 35 and quite too old in 2024 to be expected to perform. that is not underating mkhi

why would signing kamada for free be a panic signing? he’s a key player to frankfurt europa 2022 cup win. he’s an established japan international and he’s still young at 26yrs old. he’s just a potential good opportunities in the market just as zielinski is to inter. we could even sign both to rejuvenate the midfield next season.

I don’t understand why Sarri uses Guendouzi over Kamada, maybe he needs a runner moving in wide area, not interfering with Anderson, or he believes Kamada couldn’t coexist with Luis Alberto and Anderson, who knows but Guendouzi is so dull, a team having Vecino then you have Vecino 2.0, moreover he’s a loan. Whenever Kamada playing, they are more threatening on right side.

Yeah.. there’s no way we spend that much on a defender after we’ve just bought Pavard, unless an irrefutable offer for Bastoni arrives and the player agrees.

Isco will be available for free end of the season. if we are going to sell Barella or not renew Mkhi contract, then we should go after him.
