Kolarov is expected to become Pisa new sporting director according to Pedulla
Well that didn`t last long:

Kolarov steps down as Pisa sporting director after one month Image

Aleksandar Kolarov has informed Pisa that he has no intentions of continuing as the club’s sporting director after accepting the position just one month ago.

The news of Kolarov’s departure broke on Monday morning, just a few hours before the club unveiled former Roma, Liverpool and Fiorentina midfielder Alberto Aquilani as its new coach.

Kolarov, who turned out for Lazio, Manchester City, Roma and Inter during his playing days, retired from professional football at the end of the 2021-22 season.

He had been due to be officially unveiled as Pisa’s sporting director on a two-year contract on July 6, but the club confirmed at the beginning of last week that the presentation would not go ahead due to an unavoidable clash in schedules.

Pisa Chair Giuseppe Corrado, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, later provided further details on the situation, explaining: “Kolarov had concerns, and a few days ago I heard him personally express worries about his availability and predisposition.

“He asked us to be able to go to Serbia for a few days to reflect. Yesterday, we heard him say that he didn’t feel up to it. We accepted, appreciating his intellectual honesty.”

Pisa will now begin another search to find a new candidate to fill the vacant position.
Kolarov realized it actually involves work, not just sitting on a chair. Probably not qualified for this role.

Aleksander, you are always welcome back here. I would be happy to take you under my wing and train you in the power of the loan-with-option, and show you the true nature of Plusvalenza.

I think he is searching for a role similar to his last season at Inter: getting paid for doing nothing.

The notion of employment infers that a person is required to give or provide something in exchange for getting paid by the employer. Kolorov has apparently failed to grasp this.
