We've kept Correa and terminated Sanchez's contract who joined OM. Now Sanchez left OM who want Correa to replace Sanchez, and Inter want Sanchez back to replace Correa?

Just when the mercato team gets us all happy with Pavard on the brink of signing, we are then taken for another spin with resigning Sanchez, a guy that was paid to leave 12 months ago. Sanchez is not horrible, but it just shows the shortsightedness and lack of creativity of the management.
Cant wait to see the "but a younger sub-striker would cost 50m" and "lets care this year first" type of posts :D

Jesus Christ 35 is the new 32yo of Inter. 7 regulars are 35. Sommer Acerbi Darmian Cuadrado Mikhy Arnau Sanchez. Are there any other teams in Europe with such ratio?

pff ... the real Dzeko replacement. We just want a fossil on the team.
That said, should still be an impactful sub.

Never really like him because he moaned a lot about his playing time when he was with us. Then we paid him to leave and now he joins us again at 35 years old. On the other hand, he has a different characteristics as a forward which can be decisive when we are in a deadlock.

At least he comes on a free and it’s a 1 year contract. I’m sure if he performs he’ll renew again or if he doesn’t we move on without it affecting our moves next summer.
Maybe? When Correa is inevitably not redeemed by Marseille, we might have a roster crunch again.

I feel like Marseille have a good chance of making CL…but maybe not if they play Correa a lot.

We need to know what kind of black magic they had in France. How the fuck did this guy stay completely injury free last season?

During his last year with us, he'd get injured in every NT breaks, take 1-2 months to recover, play 2 matches, then get injured again in the next NT break

Actually he wasn't that bad injury wise with us last 2 seasons he was here. He was injured for 11 Serie A matches over the two seasons.

It did seems like he got injured with Chile a lot but maybe I'm misremembering. He had one bad injury on international duty after getting injured by Cuadrado in his first season here.

His fitness was horrible in the last year, knock after knock, he was simply never fully fit. It was exacerbated by the fact that Correa regularly missed out for months and Dzeko could bust his lungs at any moment. There were moments when we desperately needed rotation but he just went to NT, ran himself to the ground for 180 min straight and came back injured.

All in all, we could afford one of Correa and Sanchez in the squad, not both. So if we manage to shift Correa, having Sanchez would not be a bad choice.

It's the Inter way - 4D chess of self sabotage.

I like him as a football player, but he can be insufferable. Thuram and Arnautovic aren't exactly Lukaku and Dzeko though, so I imagine he'll play more than he used to.

and most probably, only 2 will be a fix starter or even only Sommer who is a GK, which is fine.

(plus we rejuvenated all the departing players with a younger one)

Skriniar-Pavard
Onana-Audero
Handa-Sommer
Dambrosio-Bisseck
Gosens-C.A.
Gag-Sensi
Brozo-Frattesi
Dzeko-Arna
Lukaku-Thuram
