nice panenka
Pinamonti has shown his quality to lead the line for Aurelio Andreazzoli’s side this season, becoming a fixture in the starting eleven since his summer arrival on loan and scoring three goals so far.
The striker had not played a major role at Inter last season, where he was used only sporadically by head coach Antonio Conte who principally relied on his first-choice attacking options.
However, Pinamonti still feels appreciative of having had the chance to develop as a part of the squad.
“I arrived in Empoli with a greater awareness than with the other loans,” he stated. “Also thanks to Conte I have improved mentally and today I feel like a different player than in the past.”
“Here is a beautiful environment,” he went on of his current club, “they made me feel important even though I came off of a season where I hadn’t played much. Coach Andreazzoli called me immediately to tell me that he wanted me for this adventure. I hope to repay the trust by reaching double figures for goals.”
On observing Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez at Inter last season he stated, “It’s hard to find space when you have the strongest attack in Serie A in front of you, but I consider myself lucky: Lukaku and Lautaro, but also Sanchez, were the first to give me advice when I was perhaps wrong, putting their experience at my disposal.”
On his encounters with current Inter coach Simone Inzaghi he stated that “He arrived with great enthusiasm and immediately established a great relationship with all the players. I wish him the best for this season. As a coach and as a person, he really impressed me.”
For Empoli he hopes “To continue on the path we’re on, we have a strong identity, as happens in the great teams. The opponent does not matter, we always try to play our game – it is the right path, the one that can bring us satisfaction.”
And when asked whether he felt happy for Federico Dimarco, who has established himself in the Inter first team following his return from loan this summer he replied, “A lot, he has made an exponential improvement in recent years. Leaving Inter was necessary to return as a protagonist.”
many news tells Marotta Inter look eagered to sign Insigne Napoli (free agent 2022) and Raspadori Sassuolo makes me safe to assume Pinamonti as a fifth striker at most.If Alexis leaves in the summer, I wonder if Marotta turns to him as the fourth striker to save money.
The problem is 1) his book value makes him impossible to sell unless you do a player swap, and 2) his wages are insane. We're going to be stuck with him for a while.Pinamonti needs to be sold, he'll never make the grade unfortunately.
Yea I fear this as well, loan after loan hoping someone will buy him looks like the plan. The problem is 1) his book value makes him impossible to sell unless you do a player swap, and 2) his wages are insane. We're going to be stuck with him for a while.
Good for him, maybe we can get a fee somewhat near his amortized value.
Totally different players thou. I personally don't like Pinamonti. He looks like very average forward.more sensible option using him than spending 40M Euros for Raspadori.
I 100% down for that, if we pull that off I'll be very happy.I read somewhere that we are or were interested in Samuele Ricci of Empoli. I'm sure Pinamonti will play a part in that, if it's true.
Anyway, keep on scoring Mr. Plusvalenza.
