I feel like the expectations are sky high for Di Maria in this forum. People still think he is the same Di Maria of Madrid.

Have you read Ausilio's recent interview? He was talking about Juve and how they have a core of players who've been there for years and that's one of the reasons for having such a strong squad and not having groups like us.

We need to build that core with quality young players. Players who can stay here for long like Gagliardini. Quick fixes like Di Maria are not the answer for us.

So yes, we need Bernardeschi more than Di Maria right now.

Last i watched Di Maria was in Man U, where he didn't seem to be the same as when he was in Madrid. Cant speak for his PSG run though and i do understand he was hamstrung there

The way i see it is if PSG reached none of their goals this year, need to improve next season and ARE HAPPY to sell di maria, thats a warning in itself. Man united fans were more than happy to get rid of him and no PSG are too. Id much rather we spend this on a better player. As Adnan said we will be stuck with this guy in a year or two praying a chinese club will buy him

The only transfer we should be doing in attack is singing a young quality player like James Rodrigues or Berardi while keeping Perisic. The last thing we need is another 30 years old gamble winger with huge wages. All the focus and budget should be on the defense line.

Anyone who watches Madrid, PSG, and Argentine will say the same thing : this guy is too inconsistent. He is one of the best winger in the world when he is on form. Remember how he wrecked Atleti in UCL final or how he broke Puyol's ankle in El Classico. On the other hand, off-form Di Maria is no better than Serie-C level as he will mess up simple football ABC e.g. simple short pass, simple control etc.


If I were Inter, I would stay away from Di Maria and finding other winger alternatives. Playing him is like playing Guarin on wing : he will do incredible thing in 1 match, but he will suck in other 9 matches.
