Don't have one.
GDS reports that one of his first requests was keeping Perisic

Not surprising, if you could ask him to describe you his perfect player it would probably be someone like perisic.

Potential catastrophe in the making. If Perisic has dreamed of EPL for few years, I don't want to keep such player. To me it seemed they made a pact in January that he will act professionally and try to get us to CL and then he will get his transfer. Of course a lot depends on the demand of Perisic's services.

If he stays, I really hope in that case Conte has turned his head regarding EPL and the position! Because Perisic's position needs to be LWB, no pure offensive positions for this guy anymore. I would hate to see Perisic being our LW (in 3-4-3) yet again.

"A new chapter in my life is beginning, I'm really excited," commented Antonio Conte, Inter's new Coach. "Through my work, I'll try to repay all of the trust that the President and directors have placed in me. I have chosen Inter because of the Club it is, because of the project's sound basis and how ambitious it is. Because of Inter's history. I was struck by the Club's transparency and the desire to bring Inter back to where it belongs."

That's for sure something he isn't used to.

I have my reservations about changing the playing style completely with every coaching change. But apart from that one big issue, Conte is a very competent coach and I hope he does exceedingly well. Conte is someone who can hit the road running, so if we give him some quality players, he can cut the gap significantly vs Juve.

With a new coach at Juve, maybe they will wobble this season. We need to be ready to take advantage. Forza Inter!! And even if it feels a bit weird to say this, Forza Conte!!

PS: Any clown here who talks about sacking Conte in the next 1-2 years shall face my wrath! :megusta: Now I am off to photoshop some images of Conte in an Inter shirt to post at various Rube forums.

if perisic is 100% in the project, then i'm ok with this. i can understand why a coach who plays 3-5-2 wants to keep someone like perisic, who runs for 90+ minutes, helps in defense and provides a decent number of goals and assists.

but he must be 100% in it, no shit like not being in the photos of the team, asking to be sold near the end of january and so on.

Like it or not, he's here now. Welcome Antonio. He's a winner, no doubt about that. Make us relevant again and win us a few trophies you cunt.

The reactions of fans from both sides (Inter & Juventus) are funny though. Some Juventini are shitting their pants, going salty vengeful as fuck, and in a complete denial mode.

Some Interisti go full over dramatic elitists. "Oh his zebra blood is a disgrace to our holy pride! Fuck him, NOT MY COACH! Inter is ruined! The club has no dignity anymore! This is just like Hitler switching sides to join the Jews fighting against the Nazis!"

Interesting time. Imagine winning the Scudetto or CL in Conte's first season.

We will remember Mourinho if things don't go well..tho...
In one hand i would have preferred Mourinho, in the other hand, it's karma... Now Mourinho is without team and would love to come to coach us but he did leave in a bad manner back in 2010.

Now we don't have the right to complain if Mou selects to go to rube after we hired a rubentino and not him...

Had international success, a modern playing style, knows the league well...

+ if a player doesnt show the right mentality, he will have a very hard life with Conte. Our club needs a coach with a winning mentality and a coach who can motivate the players. Conte has both.

So welcome Antonio.

I don't get that fashion to keep unhappy players.
Icardi wants to stay - sell him.
Perisic wants to leave - let's keep him.

If the €11m man with a better transfer budget does not achieve better finishes than Spalletti, I'll gleefully take on your wrath.

Statement from the Curva Nord:

Statement by Inter Ultras on Antonio Conte (translated)

[Source in Italian](http://www.fcinter1908.it/primo-pia...-la-juve-si-affidi-a-zanetti-e-oriali-perche/)

The Curva Nord, after the official announcement of Conte as the new coach of Inter, through its Facebook page has issued a statement in which it specifies: "We are not Juve". These are the words of the fans of the second green ring:

"Announced the arrival of the new coach, we point out firmly and decisively that the Curva Nord can certainly not forget his bianconero and judicial past. As the guarantors we are and will always be, we accept the fact that from certain "judicial suspicions" the new coach has freed himself by expiating the sentences that have affected him, even though the "guilt" for the long militancy in a club from which we consider ourselves light years away in style and values remains indelible. Needless to say, we are very concerned about the choice of a person with Stellini's past in the technical staff, but although we are aware of the technical contribution that Conte's undeniable professional qualities can provide to Inter's future development, our concern is above all about the moral aspect that we would like to see demonstrated in the future".

\-WE ARE NOT THE JUVE. FOR US WINNING IS NOT THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS!!!

Inter, new slogan for Conte "Being interista means winning with respect for the opponent, accepting defeat, verdicts and not looking for alibis. Our message and wish is therefore that Mr. Conte and with him also Marotta, rely on Lele Oriali and Zanetti and soon assimilate the spirit of brotherhood that lies at the heart of being Inter and that has nothing to do with sports results. You can win and you can lose but the dignity must never be lost; the hysteria and the bianconeri frustrations must be buried in Turin. We are Inter and we always walk with our heads held high. We don't have and don't want to have skeletons in our closets, we don't boast titles that have been taken away from us because of our illicit behaviour; we respect the verdicts and don't make use of our "memory" to gather consents with hypocrisy".

"We are the ones who have had the distinction of applauding the entry into the field of Milan after the conquest of the World Cup, we are those who have not abandoned their players who are victims of serious diseases even after they have left the club, we are those who remember their heroes inspired by their values not their successes. To be interactive means to respect its history, its sporting tradition, its people and above all the city that it always represents with Honour. Good work, Mr Conte, in the hope that we will soon prove that we are up to Inter because we are not Juve".
