Interesting.

I imagine Kvara and Osimhen maybe on their way out to fund Conte's big ego and his eventual 3-5-2 conversion, unless he goes 3-4-3 and keeps Kvara.

Good move by Napoli, but it's too late to repair the damage already done by the ridiculous hiring of Garcia. What were they thinking.

I think that Spalletti probably felt like Napoli was a sinking ship that time he was leaving. I'm not debating over Rudi Garcia's competence but he isn't the only issue in the team. There's a few players whom were quite poor in recent times under Spalletti's regime. Then they failed to bring in an adequate replacement for Kim, so it was basically a few reasons that Napoli is what it is now.

Not sure Conte might solve it right away. Napoli is no Gobbi, Chelsea or Inter.

I predict Conte will quickly get results with Napoli, except in Europe ofcourse.
But then they will come crashing down and there will be big drama between Conte and Delaurentis. I mean come on, it's not hard to foresee what's going to happen between them éh. :)

Aren't the rumours that Conte rejected a return to football? Most comments sound like it's a done deal? Maybe I'm just reading the wrong news (given it's football italia, that's quite possible).

If they get him, then they once again become a serious team... Good on De Laurentiis to notice that their coach is not good enough.
Albeit a bit late in the piece. Following Spalletti's departure would have been more useful.

Italian media outlet RadioRadio claim that former Juventus coach Antonio Conte will be returning to manage the club in 2024. Existing Juve coach Max Allegri still has a year left on his contract with the club, but reports from Il Corriere dello Sport earlier today suggested that he may be looking to leave in the summer, at the seasons end.

The suggestion from RadioRadio journalist Ilario Di Giovambattista is that Conte would take over in Turin in June 2024, and has already agreed terms on a deal

The only way i can see Allegri leaving on his own is if Juve win Scudetto in order to live the club on a high. Else why would he give up one year salary?

If he gets a hefty offer from Saudis then he can just mutually terminate the contract with Juve.

i wouldnt overdramatise it yet

theres a lot of work that needs to be done to that squad to make it good again - and theres not much money for them to be investing either. IT seems likely they'll get back to the CL next year, and being able to sack pogba without loss makes life a lot easier for them, but they need a massive overhaul, across the board pretty much.

Conte can turn washed up players into fighters. We finished 2nd with the likes of Biraghi, Moses, Young, Valero, Vecino and etc.. just saying that he may deliver results immediately
