Conte can turn washed up players into fighters. We finished 2nd with the likes of Biraghi, Moses, Young, Valero, Vecino and etc.. just saying that he may deliver results immediately

We also had Lukaku, Lautaro, Barella, Brozovic, Bastoni, peak De Vrij, Sanchez. Sure he can make mediocre players look good in his system but he still needs difference makers and i don't see many in this Juve.

They're gonna need a midfield overhaul to play Conte ball.

exactly this. he needs some really good players to make the mediocre ones step up. Sure, Juve have Vlahovic and Chiesa - but really are either of those guys gonna be people who definitely thrive under Conte? Does the midfield have the physicalness that he will need and insist on? does the defense have the tactical discipline?

Its a squad that needs a LOT of work for Conteball

Lautaro, Barella and more so Bastoni were still raw. Conte was an important factor for them to become the players they are now, especially for the latter two. Lautaro had that inborn character of a champion, he just needed a right coach who would play him regularly. Sanchez with his 4 goals wasn't much of a factor, perhaps his experience helped mentally.

They will sign a couple of midfielders who everyone would think are nonames and with Conte they suddenly become quality players

I don't understand why people jerk off for Conte; but saying Barella is developed by Conte is like saying Thuram is developed by Simone.
Also don't forget Eriksen, Godin, Kolarov and Lazaro were all joined under Conte.
I am not saying Conte didn't do a fair job here, but we will never get to the next level with him staying TBH with or without the budget; with the budget we might establish league consistent and dominancy, but that's it, and that is talking about spending every year; you won't see the team or individuals grow or become more technical, nor will we have the tactical versatility.

One last thing as a coach, I think the prime time of Conte was with Chelsea, cause it was an evolutional use of 3 Back, but people have caught up, and Simone brings way more to the table now.

P.S. I think Lautaro will do well with or without Conte, he is a complete striker; just wasn't under the spotlight.

Did I say Barella? I said "noname midfielders" since you said they have not much money to invest and Conte is known for being capable to fire up those nobodies.

Conte is pretty much the Lukaku version of coach in the sense, yes he will bring immediate results, but don't think of going further.

Juve can challenge for the Scudetto with Conte if they drop out of CL again before Christmas.
I like how it is assumed that he'll fail in the CL, as usual

Yes, but back then according to FIF, Lukaku was downgrade to Icardi. Bastoni was still nobody, some promising talent destined to be loaned somewhere and Sanchez was finished Man U reject.

Conte may make them fight once again. Maybe will be difficult to win the scudetto in his first year, but let's not underestimate him.

He might not fail in CL, but it's gonna be hard for him if they keep playing in many competitions.

Conte? firing up nobodies? What? The dude who bitches about lack of squad quality everywhere he goes?
I ll gve you that his wingers/ WBs usually outperform but other than that Cote is hardly known to make no name players work....

Depending on their group, I'll be throwing $5 on them going to the Europa League 😁

Conte regrets leaving Jubentus, ‘rejected’ Saudi offer, but would coach Napoli or Roma

Antonio Conte regrets leaving Jubentus and reveals he rejected an offer from the Saudi Arabia national team but would like to coach Napoli or Roma one day.

The former Juventus and Inter boss, a four-time Serie A winner, has released an interview with Rai TV program Belve which will be aired on Tuesday, October 17.

Italian media, including Il Corriere della Sera, have published some quotes from his interview. When asked which club he has regretted leaving, Conte replied: “Juventus after three years. I saw big problems in small things, so I decided to go.”

Conte had led the Bianconeri to three consecutive Serie A titles between 2011 and 2014, the first ones for the club after the Calciopoli scandal in 2006.

The Italian tactician has recently held talks with Napoli, but rejected the Partenopei’s offer to replace under-fire Rudi Garcia. However, he admitted he’d like to coach the Azzurri or Roma one day.
“Those are two clubs that I’d like to try for the passion fans have. I hope one day I’ll have a chance to live this experience.”

I don’t take jobs during the season because there are situations that have been created before I arrived,” he confirmed.

Conte was also asked his thoughts on Roberto Mancini’s appointment as Saudi Arabia’s national team coach: “I don’t want to discuss this, but Saudi Arabia had made offers to Mancini and other coaches, including myself, but I refused it,” he revealed.
From what I read this is Lord Hexagon`s last season at juBentus and now that Agnelli is not on the board any more... you get it ;)

Borriello: ‘Conte was a monster in training’
Marco Borriello reveals the toughest coaches he ever worked with were Antonio Conte, Zdenek Zeman and Gian Piero Gasperini. ‘With Conte I was vomiting and getting close to a heart attack.’

The former Milan, Roma, Juventus, West Ham United, Atalanta and Genoa striker hung up his boots in January 2019 after a final spell in Spain with UD Ibiza.

He sat down with Christian Vieri for the new version of the talk show that now airs on the official Lega Serie A radio and YouTube channel, going back over his career and the hardest taskmasters in the business.

“Nobody made me run more than Gasperini, Conte and Zeman. With them in three years I lost six years of my career,” said the 41-year-old.

Considering his description of what working with Conte was like, it is perhaps fortunate that Borriello was only in that Juventus team for six months from January to June 2012.

With Conte I was vomiting. The medical staff kept an eye on us, including a tracker of our heart rate. As soon as the beats started to drop, you would get shouted at to intensify. I ended up reaching 196 beats per minute. Basically, I was at 99 per cent effort, getting close to a heart attack.”

It wasn’t just Borriello who was not very happy with the fitness regime under Conte at Juventus.

“Fabio Quagliarella used to mutter swearwords in Neapolitan. Conte was a monster, but also a maestro in going through games in the following days with a little laser pointer. At the end of the day, he did improve you as a player.

“The team would move like an accordion, we felt good and proved it on the field. That year we won the Scudetto and he won more elsewhere.”

Borriello crossed paths with Zeman at Roma, and although the coach is known for his chain-smoking and relatively little effort even to speak, he certainly knows how to put players through their paces.

“His fitness training was long, a massacre. I couldn’t even sleep at night because I was so tired. I tried to hang near to Francesco Totti, because nobody was going to criticise the captain for not putting effort in.”
I guess that`s how you win matches in stoppage time

Report: Conte agrees to take Milan job

TeleLombardia claim that Antonio Conte has accepted the terms offered by Milan and will be their coach next season.

There had already been multiple reports that the Rossoneri were interested in securing Conte’s services and that he was talking directly to senior advisor to the club Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Now transfer pundit Luca Momblano claims that Conte has agreed to the proposal from club owners Red Bird and will take the role from next season.

Conte has taken a sabbatical for this season to be with his family, rejecting an approach from Napoli in October because he wanted to take time out.

He had terminated his contract with Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent in March 2023.
Another 3-5-2 formation coach in Serie A

Conte going to Bbilan is a bit of a worry, but on the flipside, at least AC CL DNA isn’t qualifying for the CL knockouts anytime soon

Makes a lot of sense for him.

Interesting to see if Leao fits there as a support striker or if he'll be sold for big money.
